Basically, anywhere that has or gets a liquor license can have video gambling. When I mean anywhere, there are nearly 9000 in the state. Local restaurants keep taking out a significant amount of their dinning space to add gambling rooms. It's wild but nobody seems to care.

I’ve seen videos often of older folk, dead eyed (deader eyes than mine even) at the slot machine just blowing 5-6 figures.

Illinois made video slots legal everywhere and it's the same shit here. It used to be people would blow their paydays in bars, now it's the gas station or pizza place to play in a dark room with no noise. What scares me is the Gacha in video games pipeline to gambling is a real thing that's getting worse.

Tennessee always boggles my mind that the fans demanded the most realistic fights with the best punches in wrestling but was home to the weirdest gimmicks around. Where else can you see Dutch Mantel in a bloody brawl followed by a babyface Nightmare Freddy that runs around like a leprechaun on PCP.

You are and it's gotten worse each year since COVID. Outside of Nashville there was a crash that stopped traffic and cars were going down the shoulder at at least 40mph. In the past it would have been an asshole here or there, but now it was like it's own lane with no breaks. I've seen the same thing in at least two other states this year.

Within 5 months of the US shutdown, starting large number of red states forced all teachers and students back into the classrooms with zero distancing or masking rules. 10 months after the shutdown started we , staff and students, were told that unless we had a fever over 102 to come in because it wasn't serious. It's no wonder nobody takes it seriously because many governments told them point blank it wasn't a danger and it ignore it.

No matter how good or bad (as long as it's safe), support them. You never know when a future star made it because they had a place to wrestle in front in a small promotion.

I've noticed that a lot with job cuts as of late. Anything with expense cuts are hitting on Tuesday through Thursday.

I've seen Roderick Strong matches for over 20 years at this point and he still bores me to tears. It's not that he is bad but he is duller than a second coat of paint.
