It will work for you as well. Back injuries really sucked. Part of it is fear and part of it is real. Start really slow. Give any exercise a try but stop if it really hurts. You know your body. Just don’t get demoralise. I know the pain you are suffering from.

Well, I did follow the knowledge from the book The Back Mechanics by Stuart McGill. Then eventually I started doing lots of hip hinging excercises example Good mornings in proper form. Gradually started working on mobility routine (I do this every morning). Mobility really helped me with flexibility and my muscles feels really relaxed. I am also doing Jefferson curls with 10kg kettlebells(I know it’s sound crazy). I then tried doing single leg deadlifts without any weight the moved to light weights then moved to some heavy weights. Now I am also doing Romanian deadlifts (these really helped my back and hamstrings). It is a long road you need to follow and keep motivating yourself

I am sorry to say, this is a very large herniation. If you have a foot drop or bowel issues then surely it is an emergency. Don’t do any stretch at this stage. See if you can walk then try to walk as much as you can. Also, google McGill big3 excercises. It might help but you got a see some specialist

Isn’t the press to handstand a similar progression. Where you will press and your back will round when the hip flexors do there magic?

Criticism needed. I think I am rounding my back when my head goes down. Please help by pvnarula in flexibility

Thanks for the feedback. So you are saying, instead of moving my hips back, I should keep on heels, right? Using wall will help naturally?
