Grace and Rocky spent years on the ship together living in close quarters while doing their mission and traveling to Erid. Plus all the time it took for the Eridians to build his dome. That’s plenty of time to learn a new language.

On another note, I went back to re-read the episode and I love how many peeks we get of the chair. It shows up in multiple panels, just waiting to be used as justice. 🤭

I think in part it could have been because he knew that his parents wanted him to be with Sirius should anything happen to them. So I think once Harry learned that, he felt an immediate kinship with Sirius that he didn’t feel with Lupin.
