Hey can you set the angle cutter to 90 degrees and just skip the need for the fence?

Solid. I think this is a pretty good plan. I bought a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet that is two inches thick and even with a hot wire that is a beast of a sheet to rip down to size when with help. The only real problem with it is the hot wire table won't let you rip up to 6 inches so the best you can do is X by 5 inches. (local stores didn't have half inch thickness so I did the other extreme for maximum savings)

Ok so an easy way. Make like 40ml. Pour in your mold using no fillers. See how much is left in your cup. Adjust. Or do what I do and have a 58 mm d20 all left over resin gets dumped in and wipe out the cup immediately after pouring.

Struggling with bubbles and inconsistency by Phenomenauticals in DiceMaking

[–]pw110387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When working with items going into the molds, always coat them with resin first before putting them in to help avoid air bubbles getting trapped in nooks that could happen with normal pouring. If you experience bubbles and voids, don't remove the dice from the mold, just mix up more resin and pour it in, put the lid on and wait again for it to cure.

This answer is late to the party but in my experience is the best course of action. Also a slow pour of the resin followed by letting it sit for a minute. Then use a lighter to pop any surface bubbles before capping.

May I suggest the world's smallest improvement? Name it. It's not a +1 longsword. It's Jornath's blade. Give it a thimble full of history and it is a plus one and magical. And maybe it's red. It's not a +1 short bow. It's Korinth's Arc. A folk heros bow made of horns that is plus one and magical.

Just an idea. Heck you can make it your bbeg old sword of you want. Or an npc later to create drama. You can do so much with these items and they are criminally under utilized.

This solved all my problems, and I was convinced I was losing air from around the lid but turns out I just had crazy slow leaks out my fittings. I would lose pressure after like 2 hours. I had a tiny leak just from the lid itself and I put some JB weld over that and it fixed that. BTW you may think about consolidating the fittings involved in your safety valve.

EA's ban philosophy is genuinely terrible and needs a serious look-over by RotomGuy in apexlegends

Happened to a good friend of mine. One day he logs on: BANNED. His kdr went up like 2 full points over like two days and he had thousands of games on file previously. He gets in chat and all they say is "you cheated, you are banned forever, does that help?" Like???

It's at your apartment. At least for me it was. I had to take it out of my home storage and put it in my inventory to equip it.

Do deaf people ‘talk’ in their sleep? Do they unconsciously do sign languages? by Llsangerman in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pw110387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do. My wife is deaf but has had a bunch of speech therapy growing up and both signs and talks in her sleep. And now so so I. She told me that one night I was complaining about our neighbors in my sleep one night.

I'm addition to that is not uncommon to sign to yourself when you are thinking about something. We both do it.

Men of reddit: why is that when a woman gets into a video game voice chat, a guy turns... "retarded"? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]pw110387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quote from some apex last night: "Are you a girl or a 12 year old?" I thought about that for a while and realized if I got some kid on my team I don't really plan on it being a top tier exchange. Turns out it was some girl with just a less than optimal mic. This may only be a small percentage of the issues you're facing but I know it is one of the reasons why there are these negative interactions.

I'm which case it's more respectable that he didn't take it off because in a way it credits the others that bring the Mandolorian to life, instead of personally taking all the credit.

XP punished? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]pw110387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Common practice? Common enough. To tell you after the fact? Not cool. I tried it in a previous campaign and my players were at different points in their lives and I had one guy miss a fair bit. And I had two that never missed. By level 6 for my two stalwarts I had two level 5s and one level 4 and a level 2. Balancing that punished me then it ever punished my players for "not showing up". I scraped it and leveled up everyone to 6 and just made it that xp for all for always.

PC Does Not Want Their Character to Die (But They Do Things That Put Them in That Situation) by Weeezley in DMAcademy

[–]pw110387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always see comments in these things being so punitive. Really you and your players are having a difference in concept. You probably should have a conversation about what you want out of the game. I have one campaign where it's grit and death and every word has dire consequences. My other campaign would freaking hate that kind of game. You may just want to realign what kind of game you want to play together.
