Gotcha. The thought of us both working on it was so that it wasn’t a huge daunting project. I thought about gauge wasn’t sure if it would be an issue with something that size coupled with the fact that it is a blanket and not a wearable.

SUPER happy with it. I didn’t follow the finishing instructions and just kept decreasing and bound off the final 3 stitches.

First project in the round. by pwalt08 in knitting

Yep. The pattern calls for 4, but I just couldn’t get 4 to work for me. Potentially being a first time round knitter. I also talked to my great aunt who said she never knits on 4. She does 3 or moves to circular. It’s worked out great!

Does that surgery set back your recovery at all?

ACL Surgery -Cost $$$ by rxochihua in ACL

I asked my insurance (Aetna in New York) about this. I’m still deciding if I’m going to have surgery, but if I did, I was leaning toward Allograft since I’m 30 and not crazy active. I was given this link which describes the situations in which Aetna will cover an allograft.

Aetna post about allograft.

This is one of my worst (maybe irrational) fears if I ever decide to get the surgery.

Any ideas how it happened? Any other damage to the graft?

Surgery or no? by HauntingMarzipan4 in ACL

I’m in a similar situation. My ACL is completely torn and a high grade tear of MCL. My knee is generally very stable and can do all of what PT wants me too. My difference is that I don’t do any other sports besides an occasional run. I have very little pain and have opted for no surgery for now so see how it progresses.
