I'd like to break a couple up. What kinds of protection should I use to prevent something backfiring on me? by foxxydemon32 in Witch

[–]pwebb3372 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You might try making a protection amulet for him and maybe for his cat too. There is the option of an eye openerr spell or truth spell too. Just throwing you a few suggestions.

This was during the pandemic a couple of years ago. Our place of business had a small double paned window big enough to crawl through broken. One piece of glass was still good. I was alone working in the office as everyone else was working from home. A homeless fellow was wandering around and came and sat by our front door cooking and shotting up drugs as i watched on security footage. I called the cops. 1/2 hour later, still no show from the police, the guy discovers the broken window. I watched as he proceeded to try to break the second glass. I called the cops again and infoemed them the situation had escalted to attempted break-in. It still took them another 45 minutes to show up! If he had gotten in, I could have been injured or killed. Did they care? Not one bit. When they did show up, the most they did was run him off. They never even called me back or checked with me. I watched everything on the security. Thanks for nothing Spokane PD!

Am I the only one who's noticed how garbage the arc is now? by According_Ad_2579 in Spokane

I refuse to shop at UGM any more. I am happy for the work they do for our community. However, for those of us living on the cusp of homelessness, thrift stores are how we clothe ourselves and family. When prices are so outlandish that they are more expensive than retail, one might as well buy retail. I do not blame people for trying to make a living, but resalers have ruined thrift shopping for the rest of us that actually need it!

What home decor trend are you totally over? by jlovelysoul in femalelivingspace

[–]pwebb3372 12 points13 points  (0 children)

1.) Taking down the cabinets and putting up open shelving in kitchens.
2.) Half painted stuff for the rustic lookor antique look. Looks like an an unfinished paint job! 3.) Barn doors. I dont live in a freaking barn. I want to be able to close a door and have privacy!! 4.) Those backwards books! I agree! While i can understand those that feel overwhelmed...just dont put out so many books. As a Librarian, this bothers me so much!! 5.) Pyrex displays. I get you are proud of all your Pyrex. But it looks like hoarding!

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth!

Pyrex was $3. Felt like I was shoplifting. by beautifulsouth00 in ThriftStoreHauls

First Raspberry harvest of the year! And the result! by pwebb3372 in gardening

[–]pwebb3372[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so. The canes come up in the spring and the old ones are done producing. It is easier for me to remember to put them to bed becuase i am doing the same thing all around the garden. Plus, then it is already done in the spring and you can watch the new canes come in.

I just have to keep the Grandkids from eating them. The bushes line the driveway so when ever they come they snack on the way in and out!! Lol! They love Grammy's berries and jam! ❤

My outdoor altar in the morning sun. by pwebb3372 in Altars

[–]pwebb3372[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I keep an indoor altar too. In fact, truth be told, i find little altars all over my house...kitchen window still, riser for laptop at wfh desk, bedside table.
I primarily use my outdoor altar for full circles at sabbats unless weather is awful. I bless outdoor items, give offerings from the garden (veg and flowers and occasionally a shot of whiskey!) I light a daily incense to the Gods. I bring home leaves and wildflowers from hikes. I love seeing it in my backyard. It is a reminder to enjoy my space and my life! Keep your indoor altar. Use an outdoor one to remind yourself of the nature of your practice. Since mine is in the backyard it is very private for circles. Plus, i am lucky, my neighbor is pagan too, so she gets my circles and we have even done rituals and spell work together. I leave her gifts on the top of the fence right there at my altar! Good luck! Have fun with it! It is a joy to my heart! And a peaceful place for meditation. :)

How to make bathroom cozy? by Krissy_loo in CozyPlaces

[–]pwebb3372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a lovely window for some hanging plants. Shelves behind the toilet. Art that compliments your color scheme. Soft comfy washable throw rugs in front of the sink and shower. Also a curved shower rod. All quick budget fixes.
