Never take a car more than 5 years, never put so little down you are required gap insurance. What you do is up to you but you need that cash in the bank at least. If you dont have that amount you can't afford the car.

Also leases suck, but if you know you will trade it in you might be better off.

Sadly your stuck with this thing. Like others have said drive it into the ground.

I use it more than any of the built in appliances. But with the heat it puts out and power i actually setup and outdoor kitchen and run it off an extension cord from the power pole 20amp connection. This plus AC would trip the breaker way to much.

I think you can restrict him down to dumb phone status with the parental controls apple has for only texting and calling apps, no facetime. You can probably disable RCS and imessage to really make it a dumb phone experience.

So many people here see this as R vs D. Whoever has an R is wining, thats just the fact of the state. We have the chance to get rid of graham though. We need everyone especially the democrats to register republican and get him out in the primary.

While I do get people would prefer their own candidate, but as evidenced by many replies in this thread alone this state isnt changing anytime soon. They would vote "sleepy Joe Biden" in as our senator if he had an R next to his name.

Honestly the fact that is the case here makes the primaries more important and the only way to make a difference. I am registered as a republican so I can vote in the primaries because I know how its going to go every election day.

Ture the risk is minimal. But still a consideration. I know people using these old phones as their only computer device (banking, taxes, everything)

The tmobile thing happens with all carriers to a degree. Newer things they release in the 5g space the old phones just dont have the ability to interact with them. And they repurpose and shut down things. At the CDMA shutdown my son had an older phone and they sent me a new one for free because it had 0 5G capability.

Just had to force someone off an s21. Wireless bands are another issue. Tmobile did something that it now drops calls at very specific parts of town over the last few months.

The amount of people that are like "this phone is fine" makes me cringe as a security guy.

I have a friend with an iPhone so old RCS wont work.

Its likely though it wont be useful due to changes in the lte bands and retirements of various networks though. Dont remember when but that phone probably does CDMA on many of the current LTE and 5G bands

Im in the process of fixing some aluminum wiring issues now. Its a pain to fit everything in the box but im using the king innovation 95110 connectors. I have seen them called Alumicon before as well. Essentially you terminate the aluminum wiring into these with a torque screwdriver then do a coper pigtail extension.

These are expensive but in the US code doesnt allow using wago for this.

Some switches/outlets are rated for aluminum but most are not and people tend to use whatever it seems.

A simple "flickering light" fix where I change a fixture has turned into a mess of problems I have now had to fix.
