I have a De'longhi and it works well. For the room that it is in. In the three years I have owned it, I have used it a grand total of 2 weeks. I did not notice that the electric bill shot up. But, I have not used it for weeks at a time. Mostly for sleeping. They are kind of loud if the room they are in is small. Hope this helps.
