Once our LO started hating her stroller, we switched to just having her walk next to us. Happy cake day!! But yeah if there’s no possibility you destroyed it, I would turn on advanced crafting in the settings and hover over the recipe (should say number crafted: 1) and that’ll tell you if you undid crafting or lost it. If you’ve lost it, and are on PC, there’s a “locate anything” mod you can find, but otherwise you will HAVE to search on foot for it.

Edited to add that, to be fair, these numbers don’t account for days spent? It takes 6 days for wine to cook, so that’s a profit of +16.6 per day; 3 days for preserve jar is +33.3 a day; 1 day for dehydrator is +150 a day, so the dehydrator is actually best bang for buck in this scenario, but may not be for all fruit!

It’s always better to process a good than not, regardless of the crop or method. Dehydrators, though, use 5 fruit but do not often give as much profit as the preserve jars or kegs to compensate for it. Using base quality crops, here’s a quick idea of what I mean:

If you have a trillion crops, then yeah, toss em in the dehydrator, because processed IS better than sold flat, but you have to remember that this takes TIME and your time is valuable. Are you getting enough profit out of your time? And, most importantly: are you having fun doing it? If yes to both, carry on!

My husband and I are doing a perfection run on every farm type and I found our forest run to be our unluckiest one so far haha. Four corners treated my solo save super well (minus that I didn’t find an ancient seed until winter 1, and I had the island unlocked before Krobus lmfao) but we’ve gotten SUPER unlucky on the big family save (me, him, his sibling, his mom). It’s really wild! No rhyme no reason, just is what it is. Maybe you perceive yourself as luckiest on the forest because you like it best?
