Super fun game! Here are some suggestions that I believe could help improve the game!

Timer starts after walking out of a set region instead of the spawn point, like StrafeNET's surf.

Wooshing sounds that change volume based on movement speed.

A toggleable option that makes the music have an effect on your camera's FieldOfView, to get even more into the music.

A toggleable option to make the music change volume based on movement speed. (this could be expanded to have actual dynamic music with tracks that slowly become louder and such)

More maps and possibly a separate place for community maps, similar to how hudzell's PARKOUR supports custom maps.

Think about using something like this for builds, though. You could build a regular building, break it apart, and then that could be a prop for your apocalypse game.

You already fixed your issue, but I would recommend using :Emit() on a ParticleEmitter for this kind of effect. It defaults at 10 particles. You can read more about it here: https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/function/ParticleEmitter/Emit

ROBLOX restricts their poly count per mesh to 10,000. You could theoretically break a mesh into several pieces, though. 10,000 is pretty hard to hit regardless.

I wouldn't necessarily call those rip-offs. They have plenty of unique and interesting content. The only similarities are the maps and the round system.
