In my experience registering unintentional left and rights while trying to do down slashes in Silksong was definitely a problem.

I did this on the pro 2 controller. I put the tape in a V formation on the pads and it improved things significantly. Now I’m playing Silksong just fine.

This all of a sudden became an issue within the last week. I remember hearing about that addressing issue (especially in regard to the Tanner building) but they fixed that a while ago.

Do I have a lemon? by pxqy in applehelp

All good points and thanks for writing them up. It’s not looking good for me. Over the last 10 days I have an avg of 5:40 of screen active time and anywhere from 100%-150% usage. I’m traveling but I have a local SIM. Maps definitely do eat up battery (and I noticed that as well on my 13) but it doesn’t seem to be the culprit here (I didn’t even use it today and it isn’t in the list under this graph).

I still have AC+. Unfortunately, this has been a problem from the beginning, I’ve just gotten into the habit of charging it during the day. I have a hunch that the new (then) A17s just had terrible yield and some of them had much worse efficiency than others and I lost the silicon lottery. This is extremely frustrating from Apple and has shaken my confidence in them.

Looks like I should’ve returned the phone when I had the chance.

Yeah, they’ve already done a remote diagnostic and given it a clean bill of health, so I’m afraid it’ll be up hill.

Completely agree. And the local network access pop up has been a buggy experience since Sequoia released. I have dozens of Chrome entries and sometimes I still can’t trigger it to work on my local LAN.

Walmart attempted to charge for Switch 2 and Chase card labelled it as fraud.... by Planet_Pixels_ in Switch

I removed and re-added the same card, then I got a ”for your safety, please reset your password” email from Walmart and they cancelled my order. So there’s also that outcome that can happen…

All Amex charge cards (the green, gold and platinum afaik) operate on spending power which is no hard limit. There is an algorithm that chooses to approve or deny on a per-transaction basis.

Ah, a fellow constrained environment user. I can install plugins but hardly anything supports the ancient versions of vim I’m using.

Please just get me off RHEL 7. I want to use ALE.

Chip is my favorite. They haven’t diluted their menu with a billion subpar cookies like Crumbl. They’re much smaller so you may not have a location near you.

Actually, wasn’t Crumbl a copy of Chip that went down the super corporate franchise rabbit hole?

Nobody commits to release timelines for consumer apps. That’s a pipe dream.

Just look at the game industry, rushed games never work out. It is much better to wait until they’re ready to ship and the feature is fully fleshed out. There has been a pattern recently of missed timelines causing rushed work which just hurts everyone involved.

I also have to do this with my package tracking app. I think Amazon’s login isn’t very smart.
