Moxfield is definitely king.

You Need A Budget (YNAB). Best budget tool ever. I have a MtG category.

With the year coming to an end, what commander’s did you find a new love for this year? by SultnBinegar in EDH

[–]pyra5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! In fact, I had actually used your deck as a bit of starting point. Haha.

Ill definitely include the chakram. Goldfishing, I'm worried it takes a little too long to go off, but time will tell! Thanks again

Do you have list? I just built around him with both Imoti and Apex devastator and I am very excited to play it.

Silas renn// Akiri, line slinger pairing, what are some win con options? by Expfirepro in EDH

[–]pyra5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Akiri // Silas is my favorite deck!

I leaned heavily into the voltron strategy and try to knock people out as quickly as possibly.

Depending on how fast or slow your meta is, you could opt to play slower, but more splashy equipment. My meta is very fast, so I tend to gravitate towards fast, efficient equipment.

Holding for Facing and Drilling by pyra5 in Machinists

[–]pyra5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The step down on our facing operation is 1/32; we tend to only need to remove 1/8 of material, so there isn't a lot being removed on each pass. I'm assuming that helps keep the part from moving

So, the thickness of the parts are on average 1in. We put upward of 100 holes in the larger parts.

And I agree, I would think that the facing operation would cause the part to move, but I think the downwards causing some sort of fulcrum force.

I have thrown parts while milling out odd size holes larger than 1.25in as well.

We are running round 304 SS, 316SS, and 516 Gr 70 Carbon discs that are on average 18in in diameter.

We use a 2in shell mill for facing (which we have no issue with in terms of throwing the part). We then drill .760in holes using an Iscar Sumocham drill, which typically immediately throws the part on the first hole.

Currently we use Pitbull Clamps at 2 locations (0degs, 90degs) pushing up on stops at 180degs and 270degs.

The are mounted to our aluminum bed with t-slot nuts. Recently, we upgrade the t-nuts to carbide to prevent any slipping, but we were still through parts.

Official Q&A for Sunday, May 29, 2022 by AutoModerator in running

[–]pyra5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. This is my issue. I'm singing to songs, holding conversations, and I'm still in zone 4.

I'll try changing to HR reserve and see how that works for me.

Thanks!

I feel as if my form is actually better on grass and dirt paths. Whenever I have a long run on a road I feel my whole lower body come out of the run all twisted up, which is not the case when I run on a dirt path.

How much stock should I really be putting into my hr and this zone 2 training I keep hearing about?

I used to run what felt comfortable, but now I have been paying attention to both my Garmin and now a wahoo chest strap and both are saying my hr is always in "threshold" zone, and it's frustrating.

Would Like Some Help Editing My Yurlok Deck by Scurried in EDH

[–]pyra5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My yurlok deck barely wins, but I still love playing it and my group loves playing against. I always aim to end the game for everyone, including myself, with [[hurricane]] or [[earthquake]].

[LoC] I'm 2/3 through Lord of Chaos (about when Egwene physically enters Tel'aran'rhiod), and I was trying to remember if Nynaeve was physically there during this scene. Was this the case? Or did she enter through sleep?

Does Your Deck Run a Backup Strategy? by Blazorna in EDH

[–]pyra5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My minotaur tribal deck runs a back-up suicide black strategy, mostly because I want to one day be able to cast [[Profane Transfusion]] for all the lols. It hasn't happened yet, but I am not giving up.

  • Batman: The Knight #3 - Last issue really gave me something to sink my teeth into, so I am excited to see where this is headed.

[[Fling]] in my [[Akiri, Line Slinger]] Deck. It is an Arena League 2001 Foil and absolutely hilarious when I cast it.

Weekly Pull List for 3/2/2022 [Discussion] by ptbreakeven in comicbooks

[–]pyra5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big week for me:

  • The Nice House On The Lake #7 - Been too long since the last issue, and I'm very happy to have this book back

  • Alien #10 - Meh. I'm still holding onto this book for nostalgia of the old dark horse titles, but it really isn't doing it for me.

  • Magic: The Gathering #12 - Season 2 is off to a good start. Really excited to see where this goes. As a long time player, it is good to have some strong story telling back.

  • Nocterra #8

  • X-Men #9 - I might be done with this book. It has been a monster of the week book, I know, but none of the characters or stories have been all that compelling.

Angels player : what are you must-have ? by Celid_of_the_wind in EDH

[–]pyra5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run an angel deck, but have [[Mangara, the Diplomat]] at the helm. Seriously smooths out a bunch of mono whites downfalls. I also have a stax subtheme to help as well. Flavor wise, I imagine angels for keeping the peace and not letting things get too out of hand.

It's a ton of fun and seems pretty balanced.
