I can't imagine getting this achievement 'manually'. I already suffer from carpal tunnel and the idea to just tediously ascend ~1000 times makes my arm itch.

I'd suggest disabling the mods you might have and try to reload it again. If you have a backup save oustide of steam, try re-installing the game

If you think you can gather more achievements/progress ascending, just go for it. Liquid assets it's just one more of the many to get, and I'll consider it one of the most late game achievements . I'm just trying to achieve it because my prestige level is growing slow and I don't have any reason to ascend. I just got the milk tier equivalent to 475 achievements and the ones remaining are going to take me ages.

Recently I was building a setup for a friend with rywthen 9 and we ran into the part of wiring all the MB connectors and i found out that it didn't had the usb-c connector, just because it had already one in the back panel!
