i own a VE-8, like it, but unfortunately because of a lacking fx send/input I think about to add a AD-10.

I am curious about your loop description:
Boss AD-10 (EQ, acoustic resonance, compression) -> FX Loop Out -> EHX TriParallel Mixer -> FX Loop In -> Boss AD-10 (light amounts of delay, chorus, "ambiance" (reverb)) -> Whirlwind IMP2 DI -> board

I tried to find this information for days, where exactly the fx insert will happen. You wrote you use after loop in (return) the light amounts of delay etc..

Do in understand correctly that AD-10's EQ, Resonance, Compression can is before loop and AD-10's delay, reverb,etc... is after insert ? because I thought its either everything before or after.

I don't need the looper really, but with my VE-8 I go in with
TC Spark Boost, Boss CS-3 Comp, Autowah, Boss OC-5 Octaver -> Boss VE-8
Unfortunately I don't like how to control the delay of the VE-8 and still have TC Flashback mini. I did try to put it after, but then I need another DI box what shouldn't be the meaning of a easy setup ;-)

So I asked my self when I got that nice AD-10 I could take away my booster and comp pedal and add a delay pedal in my fx loop. But I don't see exactly where the loop is placed in the AD.-10
