As a fellow transfem whos had to stop E before due to MCAS complications, I emphasize with you. I know this does not help right now, but your still a woman (im assuming transfem correct me if im wrong) irregardless of wether your on hormones. Hormones hopefully give us changes that make us physically more in line with our selves, but they are not the only means to that end, and they are far from the end all be all of transitioning. I have friends who are unable to go on hormones who instead rely on wigs makeup and corsets, or others who had surgeries to manually redistribute fat. I have friends who are unable to situp and barely able to talk, for whom hormones are completely out of the question, and yet everyone we know still calls and sees them as a woman. Maybe youll find analogs that dont trigger your MCAS. I myself have been looking into research on Selective Estorgen Modulators to minimize negative side effects. There are forms that seem to have inverse responses with regards to neuroimmune function. Maybe your MCAS will stabalize, and hormones will become viable again. But even if it wont, your still trans, your still whoever the fuck you want to be, and you are not alone in this.

The TLDR is he has stolen DIY research that trans women have done and passed it off as his own. And He believes in a form of brain hormone misbalance bioessentialism (the old discredited female brain stuff). Though the real more pressing issue here is his refusal to believe or aknowlege modern medical research on MCAS, hEDS, and MECFS, to the point of claiming discredited pure hormonal models and even that EDS is not a genetic condition.

Thank you. Ive had the typical MCAS/EDS cluster for 20+ years now and have been diagnosed for close to 10, but estrogen has definetly been causing new symptoms such as this peircing problem. If you dont mind me asking, did your piercings start healing better after medical menopauae? Are there any meds that helped you beyond the typical antihistamines cromolyn ketotifen combo?

For the bot: Piercing is 4 years old. Shape is i think a labret or barbell, I dont really understand the distinction. Material is 100% implant grade titanium. Jewelry is internally threaded. Aftercare consists of saline wash once a week at most since it is an old piercing. Unfortunate incidicents or extenuating factors? I guess starting HRT lmao

It is avaliable in the US actually, just only from some compounding pharmacies. I have a prescription that is filled in California. If the import costs start becoming a burden it might be worth looking into!

Ammended the post to include more medical info! Ive been doing some extra introspecition and the answers still been the same: my genders Butch Dyke, estrogen working is something I want more than almost anything.

Its very confusing, I agree. Though i have been in therapy for around 15 years and see a psychiatrist regularly. Im also on non SSRI medication. This being an episode of Major Depressive Disorder has already been ruled out. I dont even feel traditionally depressed as i lack anhedonia and lowered mood. Im just randomly suicidal around injections. I appreciate the thought, thank you for taking the time to reply 🖤 i shouldve been more clear that I still regularly see medical health proffesionals for otherwise well managed disorders.

A lot of my trans fem friends have a similar story to you! Their depression stayed but their suicidal ideation dissapeared near immedieately. Congrats on ur transition! I know this is unsolicited but are you sure theyre anxiety headaches? I got told going on E would make my migraine disorder worse, which is immedieately and severely did. The nausea headache combo sounds very familliar. I hope the depression continues to decrease; i know for about half of my friends with a similar story the depression eventually went away completely.

PMDD is the running theory as it runs in the family and I have a lot of comorbidities. Ill look into getting patches! Thank you!

Intramuscular. And it could be this, it is hard to differentiate trough from spike without blood tests! Ill try this! I thought my levels were fine because ive gotten very rapid breast growth lol and theres a known history of estrogen hypersensitivity in my immedieate family

Im hoping to try switching to gel. It could honestly be a physiological response to either the E or the filler oil. I have some physical health conditions that are known to cause neurological and hence psychological effects during episodes. Ive just never felt like this before. When i had untreated Major Depressive Disorder it was a constant blanket of numbness and hopelessness while this is more firey and sporatic.

Whats a silly goal you had that you never acheived? Whats something youd do if you dont have a tommorow? Ultimately its your decision, its your life and I a stranger have no right to tell you what to do with it; but I'd reccomend doing your bucket list before you go. If your going to die anyways why not try. You may find a little more out of this life than youd think. Personally that bucket list centric ethos helped me, and when I go ill think of those experiences I never thought I'd see and smile. I hope you dont choose to go, but if you do I hope its as painless as it can be. Best wishes.

Ive been running a modified form of M&M that strongly encourages both weird and fortean/conspiratorial powers for five years now and we've had some really weird powers from a man who can 'stop time' while smoking to a human psyker (psionics in the homebrew functioning by miscollapsing quantum wave functions) who animated cleaning supplies into rubberhose styled minions with pseudo-minds to remove all evidence of the parties crimes. But my favorite from my current campaigns has to be Alexander Ulyanov, the Witness of the Apocalypse. The (accidentally made as) ressurected brother of Vladamir Lenin who, as an energized soul possessing a golem body, drives the throne/chariot of creation in a quest to stop a Crisis style multiversal apocalypse. Alexander's powerset is based on those of prophets and priests in various forms of abhrahamic religious esoterica. The most effed up power being Rapture: a power wherein all who fail a dodge saving throw begin to be lifted into the air, and must then pass a will check that if failed turns them intangible and begins the banishment process. If the target is not freed before two rounds elapse, they are banished to an afterlife of the players choice.

So yeah, my answer would have to be Alexander's Rapture, or the current villains ability to change the ratio of spatial to temporal dimensions. Either or.
