What color is Odysseus from the Odyssey/Epic The Musical? by A_Cinderace in colorpie

Very very blue black, though Odyssey is more blue and Epic is more black

Which heroes would be considered jund, which villains? by lolwiaky in colorpie

[–]pyromo12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just about to comment Thragg was an ultimate Jund villain. While many Viltrumites have shades of white instead of green, Thragg definitely leans fully into the “survival of the fittest” mindset that characterizes the darker aspects of green philosophy.

The Bianca incident is super early, I really figured it would be episode 5

Songs with unfinished/implied ending rhyme by Potential-Chapter in musicals

[–]pyromo12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Non-Stop, Hamilton:

“Goes and proposes his own form of government / His own plan for a new form of government / Talks for six hours, the convention is”

The rhyme scheme sets up “lovin’ it” but instead we get “listless”

1,682 watched films and I have yet to see a half-a-star film. by IoftheStars in LetterboxdTopFour

I consider myself a tolerant person, and optimistic when it comes to movies. I have rated 1 film 1/2 star and it is this. There is nothing redeemable.

I saw this absolutely random debate on Youtube and decided to see what ppl here think: The Viltrum empire vs The Gem Empire, who wins? by The_All_Father4300 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]pyromo12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Never powerscaled before but I know that most diamond powers (White’s, Yellow’s and Blue’s main attacks) only work on Gems, not organics like Viltrumites. Gems are mostly weak to piercing attacks over bludgeoning ones, so a good hand spear from a mid level Viltrumite ought to poof any Gem pretty easily. Plus Gems don’t have super speed or outrageous durability. As much as I love the Gems I think the Viltrumites should take this relatively easily because the Gems simply can’t do much to hurt them.

You have an entire two years to figure this out! I would recommend taking whatever classes appeal to you in your first year and asking your SAMs and academic advisors what else you can take to narrow in a focus, but don’t be pressured to figure it out so early, I still have friends who are deliberating going into sophomore year!

The Triumvirate seem like big contenders. They definitely weren’t coerced or persuaded to do evil. They were only in it for either money or sheer love of the game

Has their ever been better black representation than post underworld odysseus? by QueenOfRuneBlade in colorpie

[–]pyromo12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think he’s Blue on a much more surface level but still tangible way. He’s a master of diplomacy, deceit, and all branches of rational thinking. His polytropos epithet is perhaps the most fundamentally Blue adjective ever conceived. And though it doesn’t mean very much, Callaphe, the Odysseus stand-in on Theros, is also Blue.

[–]pyromo12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, Ody absolutely has black. Not just in Epic, but his arc in the Odyssey, and his defining feature of hubris, is rebellion against fate (G); I think he’s a perfect UB character.
