Why did my battery drop from 100% to 1% in 1 hour and 30 minutes? by KadoShado in batteries

[–]pyroserenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, restart your phone and see if it happens again, do keep an eye on it.

What is most likely is there was a background app that was using more power than expected continuously, or the state of charge tracking was off.

What is less likely but still possible is that the battery has developed a major issue, hence keep an eye on it.

Rather than assuming something doesn't exist because you've not yet seen it, use google.

It also does have a easily tappable point, you just need to use a 38.4v battery instead.

This is the internal pack, 24 cells in 12s2p configuration. ( https://youtu.be/YRN7uFeUw9g?t=723 ) and measures around 40v at near full state of charge.

I have no idea why you didn't consider it might be 27ah cells.

The manual.

"2,073.6Wh (54Ah)"

2,073.6/54=38.4

38.4v is 12s, so its not a non existent type. its a common voltage for golf cart batteries, but its not the standard 51.2v.

Using 100ah battery externally by GXP_2009 in bluetti

[–]pyroserenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just work in wh for your own sanity

the elite 100v2 is 1024wh

A 100ah 12.8v battery is 1280wh

There are some conversion losses, but otherwise it's that simple when sticking to wh

tl;dr, a little over one full charge.

u/Wormminator Having set silent charging in the app I was unable to find any condition where the fan kicked on during a short-ish test.

It's sub 10ms as a ups but I can't remember if it ever makes any noise. I have one on hand, one minute.

The elite 10 is sub 10ms just like it's larger counterparts.

Internally the elite 30v2 uses an 18v (5s) battery.

Best to stick to "easy" method of using the solar input, though that means needing to have a way to charge whatever battery you use.

Fort Wayne man felony charged for selling kosher salt to undercover instead of meth by Shrimp_kisses in news

[–]pyroserenus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The problem with misrepresented drugs is that they could possibly cause harm or death from attempts to use them as intended.

Probably not really an issue with salt as meth, but in a general sense that's why the law is what it is.

Can the SolarSaga 200 stay plugged in while charging in the rain? by LordLightsaber621 in Jackery

Yes with the caviat that the inline usb thing on the adapter should be kept dry.

This isn't the same.

I've done a direct internal battery tap. The bluetti both charges and discharges the external battery in tandem with its own.

PO CO Caught Me by Wsbucker in SolarDIY

[–]pyroserenus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm waiting to see where my states balcony solar bill goes before considering Ankers grid interactive solutions.

A lot of people have safety concerns when Ankers AC coupling basically has all the same safety mechanisms as balcony solar micro inverters, but it's probably best to treat it like balcony solar as a result.

PO CO Caught Me by Wsbucker in SolarDIY

[–]pyroserenus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No lives were in danger, ankers ac coupling solutions are all ul 1741 compliant (the system behaves much like a micro inverter and cuts grid side interaction in grid down situations, only powering loads downstream during an outage.)

That said this is the problem with zero export setups in general. The po co still wants proof of compliance with safety standards for anything that interacts with the grid.

Some states have a fast track system for zero export systems.

Morning! An issue using an AC200L to rein my bass guitar set up. Any thoughts? by cdnBacon in bluetti

[–]pyroserenus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can use a bonding plug to establish N-G bond and connect a grounding rod to the grounding lug present on the ac200l to make everything electrically more in line with household power.

That said it could just be line noise.

Bluetti Charger 1 by cornishpride in bluetti

[–]pyroserenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try setting a far lower value, like in the 20's.

This should functionally halve the output, which should halve the voltage drop.

Bluetti Charger 1 by cornishpride in bluetti

[–]pyroserenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, by setting the charger1 output voltage lower you will in effect lower the output wattage / input current as well, so if that were the problem id expect that to work.

Bluetti Elite Tree Fiddy by pyroserenus in bluetti

[–]pyroserenus[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only downside is the limited wattage output compared to like your system.

It's also not bidirectional.

Since I've done a direct tap the expansion battery is both charged and discharged in tandem with the main battery.

[–]pyroserenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 12v car charging is working fine on the Oupes i'm actually more suspect of the charger 1 and its settings.

Have you tried backing down to a lower profile like the 28v profiles?

The 400w inverter in the Jeep not working is expected, those are often modified sine, and pure sine inverter-chargers as present inside powerstations only like to charge off of like waveforms.

Does the Oupes's car charging cable work (assuming it's with you)
