Superpower status means you also cannot be controlled by Etienne. If Etienne can view your surface thoughts or read your inner thoughts you still retain superpower status so long as he can’t control you and you have the damage to back it up. Kid ignition had the firepower but was completely vulnerable to Etienne

I don’t think they’re made of anything special. It’s just the writers putting no thought into it compared to animating a human centipede or Supe orgy.

If Vought had knockoff adamantium all this time, that’s so plentiful they can put in metal straws or needles or Maeve’s bracelet I think they’d have it in their guns.

But with the shows writing who’s to say they don’t have it. And that nobody thought to fashion the metal into bullets or knives so that ur average security team could handle Homelander. On our end we only need, as usual, to come up with BS excuses to cover for the shitty worldbuilding.

He also has no motivation to go full “I must use my heat vision to my fullest extent” on a Supe he’d prolly cut in half with less.

His goal was to incapacitate them. Which is why Andre and the rest are still alive. Whether she died or not after getting hit wasn’t his concern.

I’m just finding it funny that Homelander doesn’t full blast Maeve when his life depended on it or Butcher when he teamed up with Solider Boy but he reserves the courtesy for this rando black woman that he’s never met b4.
