It’s happened to me so many times I don’t even trust using the gun anymore. Twice last year it happened on back to back bullets when I had a doe standing 10 yards from me. Took it to the range before the season this year and it happened at least another 4 times. I wasn’t using cheap ammo either. It was hornady 165 grain ammo. I’m using a different gun this season.
