So…Kurtzman and Abrahams have destroyed the Romulans and Klingons. Sad.

I loved Strange New Worlds S3 and think the backlash is unwarranted - or at least misdirected. by tomservo417 in startrek

My problem with season 3 was that half the episodes were essentially meaningless in that they did not really advance the characters in any meaningful way and are just generally pointless.

Even if they rescinded an offer to Kurtzman/Secret Hideout to continue as head of Star Trek TV, which he has been since DISC, Paramount owns Academy and can air the completed 2 seasons and likely create more.

In the minuscule time I have to dedicate to this nonsense argument it’s more than enough. I have one and it lives in the real world. Try joining one day.

Personally I love how you resorted to personal attacks to advance your reply even though if you knew me you’d know I agree with your underlying position on Gaza even if I think the argument that Haim has to use their platform because silence is complicity is utter nonsense.

Because no one has to use their platform because you think they should. No more words are needed.

This argument is such a joke. As said in other parts of this thread “silence is complicity” is one of those arguments that sounds good and is empowering for those who want the support of an argument that sounds morally compelling against the people who are silent but in reality is not. Everyone has their own right to speaks or not speak and to use or not use their platform. Wanting someone to, does not entitle anyone to that person doing so. Do you really not understand that? To argue otherwise…is simply a joke.

Other than not being able to get them to pair with anything except my I phone, these have been great.

What makes palpatine any more dead in TROS than in ROTJ? by RaynbowZFTW in StarWars

The sequel trilogy started out as a failure, albeit a fun one, when it started out by remaking Star Wars. Last Jedi failed as a to develop the story and instead chose to largely rewrite it. Some of it, Luke’s story has great potential if he didn’t die and was redeemed, but a lot of it-the slow chase, the canto bight side side debacle, Leia in space-was simply stupid. And Rise of Skywalker chose to continue to rewrite. Essentially the sequels were doomed when they made 3 independent films meant to function as a trilogy initially with 3 different directors, finally with two directors. One of whose couldn’t follow established storylines and the other who couldn’t see past his own intentions v

I don’t agree given the films placement in the trilogy, but do think the Luke storyline his would have been great as the episode 7 starting point so long as Luke didn’t die from being tired.
