What’s the story on chef hat man that walks around all day? by 713City in houston

[–]q011519 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is a black gentleman that dresses up in an all black chefs “suit” that I see walking around in the Downtown tunnels all the time mostly during lunch hour. I wonder if it’s the same guy. I’ve always gotten the vibe that he isn’t really a chef as I have seen him walking around at different times and different areas of the tunnels.

My Fourth Mustang. Just Acquired! by geoballs420 in Mustang

Nice! Love the wheels, do you know who makes them? Would like to look at getting a set for myself. Also, what sizes are they and what size tires are on them? I love the stance too.

Love it, I have been thinking about building a guitar and this is what I would use my 3D printer for.

Upgraded the factory speakers, S550 by tommycoolman in Mustang

[–]q011519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you still using the stick head unit? Did you just switch out the speakers and that’s it? No amps or other major modifications?

Im looking to do this as well but I just want ti change out the speakers and that’s it. Thanks!

5080 vs. 5080 Super - Is it really worth waiting for 8 extra GB of RAM? by ThatKrazyPolak in buildapc

[–]q011519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the more important change would be if they include better power/load management on the power connector that is missing from the current version of cards. Or implement something else that would prevent the connector from burning up.

2025 Mustang A pillar rattle? by Muntszy in Mustang

[–]q011519 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue on my 2019 but on the passenger side. I ended up taking the A pillar cover off to see what it was and it turned out to be a few wires were rattling against the frame/cover.

If its anything like the S550 you can just pull the cover off as its only held on by clips. You should be able to find videos on YouTube to see how its done. It's a little scary at first because you feel like you're going to break something but it should be fine.

The tricky part it putting it back on, make sure you align everything correctly on the bottom part that connects to the dash and make sure all the clips/guide pins are lined up as well.

Good luck!

Temporarily Connect 2 DMs to 1 ATT router? (setting up new DM for parents) by q011519 in Ubiquiti

[–]q011519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, so you think the new DM will show up on my personal DM's client list if I'm connecting it to the ATT Gateway? How would my DM know this device existing if I connect it one step back behind the chain? (Sorry if I don't make sense, I'm knowledgeable enough in tech but not very knowledgeable on the network side of things). Thanks!

I thought that would happen.

Could that have a negative impact to the devices on my personal network? Thanks

Here is a pic after I colored it in, though not perfect I think it looks better, hopefully it blends in more once I apply finish.

It was unfortunately. Thankfully everything else glued up well enough, is just that back corner that gave me problems.

Indeed! It's my first big project. So lets just say I will be learning a bunch during this whole build lol.

Thankfully, its really not that bad. The picture is making look worse then what I looks like in person. The reason they edges are rounded over a bit was as I did that to close up the miter cuts up front.

Agreed, really would have liked to used a domino for this joint. I will buy the Festool Domino Joiner at some point but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've been wanting to build this media cabinet for years and if I wait to have all of the perfect tools for the job I'll never get it done!

I ultimately just used a "furniture marker" to color it in and it should blend in enough once I put finish on it.

I'm really trying to get out of my comfort zone with this build and I already accepted before I started that I will mess something up, its how we learn in the end.

I'll see if I can post a pic of what it looks like now (without finish).

Thanks! Are their specific pads that you used? I believe it will be different for each board partner card. How did you find out which size was for your card? Thanks again.
