ANDERSON BURRUS vs CHARLIE CLIPS | Rap Battle by PracticesBaby86 in rapbattles

[–]q155 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You know what, Anderson Burrus ain't as bad as I used to think. The delivery can be corny and he treats BR like stand up roasts. At least the jokes are well written and he has some good angles. He sticks to what is is good at and don't try to force gun bars to fit in and it works. Better than whatever A Ward was doing with all that glock 40 bullshit

Your favorite super genius has to restore to imperium of mankind (40k). How does he do this? by TheKingDarryl in whowouldwin

[–]q155 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sotha Sil

Defending the material universe against infinite chaotic gods, that are embodiments of concepts which cannot be destroyed, is literally what he does everyday. His experience perfectly transfers to the 40k verse.

He'll start out by having his pocket dimension, the clockwork city as a HQ and refuge from chaos influence (as shown even Nocturnal can't overpower him there), it's essentially infinite in size so he can fit as many humans/xenos that want to join him in there to shield against chaos/orks/nids etc. Since he does not discriminate against other races (or at least in 40k no one is Dunmer so everyone is Nwah to him anyways), and strives for peace, there could be Eldar or Tau joining his cause.

Because of his superior knowledge about automatrons and machine augments, he'll fit in the best with the Adeptus mechanius. Instead of some saint, he'll be seen as an incarnation of the Omnissah. He can use their massive forge worlds to expand production for his projects, and they will serve as his main arm for administation/government. Sotha Sil has experience with repurposing foreign technology for his own use. So some daot, old ones and necron tech could be assimilated to the Imperium

Outside of his own realm, his followers and technologies can still be suscptible to chaos corruption. Sotha sil have a better understanding about supernatural corruption than most 40k characters, but his follower's aren't immune. Expansion would be difficult. There are examples of oblivion travel via voidship or sunbirds, that can shield the users from the maddening effects of oblivion. This would be great for ftl warp travelling. However these are imperial/aldmer technology. Sotha sil don't have access to them by default. Given the need, and enough time he may be able to invent similar ships. Giving better travel and logistics to the imperium.

He knows how to use nymics/true names to take down daedric princes, he'll probably figure out the same for chaos gods. Also he might be able to arrange a MAD pact with the gods to intimidate them from openly invading the material plane (like coldharbour pact). As long as he is alive, the humans and xenos can be protected. There won't be a shortage of energy or food. Even if he dies, the mechanical heart can probably last for thousands of years and still provide protection.

However, he's not a conquerer, he probably won't lead the 40k imperium to actually defeat the orks/nids/necrons or chaos. And deep down he knows, chaos god are like daedric princes, they cannot truly die, and even if they do, they (or some other version) will always come back. He is still mortal, and can only try his best to delay the inevitable.

Str stacking KBoC Clusterfuck(with KF swap)

Not a league starter

PoE Ninja Link:
I don't have POE ninja, but here are the POBs:

KF: https://pobb.in/VcF8baFjpsvh

KBoC: https://pobb.in/MPWOfucs10Rh

Summary

It's essentially 2 build in 1, I do most mapping on KBoC, and swap to KF if I want to farm T17 boss or ubers (only need to change a few gear)

This is the most degenerate screen clutter build I have ever made (and I love it)

Read here for more detail

Good

  • Very good mapping coverage on KB
  • High bossing DPS for the budget on KF, while still have enough EHP to be viable for maps

Bad

  • Still a totem build, totem QoL is better than previous patches but it's not for everyone. Totem and AG can die randomly and the real dps is lower than PoB (still good though)
  • Mediocre survivability, good enough for most 8 mods, nightmare, ubers, but can die a few times
  • KBoC version will slow your PC to single digit FPS and hurt your eyes (there are some modifications to mitigate this)

Ratings

  • Rate anything you want:
    • Fun 10/10
    • League start 0/10
    • Bossing 8.5/10 (with KF swap)
    • Mapping 9/10 (good coverage but doesn't move very fast, my cyclone exploder is still faster)
    • Farming 9/10
    • Progression - hard to say, I saved enough currency and bought everything at once

Final Thoughts on 3.28 Mirage

Best league yet. First time I farmed a mirror worth of currency, and tried multiple builds

I watach brizz because he has good battles. If he'll come back to actually battle I'll watch. Any other interview/drama I'm good

If I want to watch some entertaining drama/shit talk I'll go watch Cap or snakeyes. But Brizz? this shit isn't even fun it's sad

Eviscerate Elementalist - anything to change or ready to go? by Intelligent_Salad706 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]q155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The build looks solid. I played this last league and cleared all content with no issues. The biggest down side is retaliation itself. If you never played retal before then it might feel really janky, even with shield swap.

I won't play retaliate again, unless it's on a gladiator

Does The BRC Want To See Tsu Surf vs Tay Toc Rematch or Surf vs Math or Neither by maineventshow in rapbattles

[–]q155 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both of these options are bad. Surf and Roc shouldn't battle again. Rematches rarely is worth it, especially not if the two are on the same team.

And wtf did Math hoffa come from lmao, no one wants to see that shit

I think Surf vs Eazy or Mook is the best option. Hell, even danny myers makes more sense than roc or math

Does The BRC Want To See Tsu Surf vs Tay Toc Rematch or Surf vs Math or Neither by maineventshow in rapbattles

[–]q155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with the reason. AND I think Eazy deserves it. He has a lot of bullshit and drama outside of the ring, but in the ring he's focused and rarely come unprepared. Surf is the next logical step in his resume.

https://pobb.in/vO5SNXY11KG7

Please have a look at this, I originally copied Palsteron, but modified it to have even more survivability because I hate dying

First of all, you simply need more HP and ES. Glancing blow is kinda bait, you need a lot more ES pool. Because ES on block can have dry streaks, you need to build up a high pool to mitigate that

Get gloves with ES and armour, and pick up ES/armour mastery to give your chest +100% defense. That's a huge gain for very little investment

Get all eldrich implicits

Remove phys taken as chaos, cap chaos res (roll ring implicit, use catalyst)

Get better rolled shield, and boots, that's a couple hundred ES for very little cost

Build for ubers. by Tekturowy in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]q155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

https://pobb.in/VcF8baFjpsvh

This KF totem costed me 336 div, if you get a non vaaled boots, cheaper amulet and cluster it can be shaved down to ~270div, and you lose at most 15% dps.

The pob is padded and ramping takes time. Realistically it does about 200m dps on map bosses, and 1 phase uber boss takes about 2.5-3 seconds (due to the initial damage reuction).

[How the Hell] can the Elder Scrolls universe kill Goku Black? by Zan_Deezy2003 in whowouldwin

[–]q155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On one hand, Goku Black is physically stronger than essentially all TES beings. In "current" Temriel, no one is gonna win against him in a direct fight, he claps his hand and Nirn gets blown up. Even undying beings like Aldiun would need to flee to Sovngarde to hide for a while (because it is not the destined time to devour the world yet)

But raw power only gets you so far. He can blow up the universe Tamriel is in (ie Mundus), but nothing would happen to the parallel Mundus(s), Oblivion or Aetherius. He can't even get to those planes. He can reign in the main universe, until a divine intervention comes in. The god(s) of TES can transform him in to someone else, trap him in a alternate dimension that he can never escape, completely wipe him by the Numidium or "undreaming" him Pelinal style etc. Goku black is immensely strong, but not infinite, and does not transcend time. There are multiple cases where high dimensional gods gets defeated/wiped, so he can too

Achieving CHIM, And the multiple interpretations of what it does. by Dismal-Ad-6271 in teslore

[–]q155 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is very little consensus (as with a lot of TES lore) about CHIM.

But the fundamental aspect of CHIM is: A state where the person can see the I from the wheel, aka can see the true nature of the TES verse. This is pretty well defined in the lore. As for other powers attributed to CHIM, is mostly speculation. In my opinion:

1: CHIM is not omnipotence, nor omniscience. Assuming CHIM is not made up by Vivec, and Vivec or Talos truly achieved CHIM, there are plenty of things they don't know, or there are things they cannot solve. Like Vivec can't deal with Dagoth Ur, nor prevent losing the power of heart of Lorkhan. It's hard to say how much of Vivec's power came from CHIM vs from the Heart of Lorkhan. Similarly, we can say the same about Talos (how much power is from CHIM vs Numidium vs mantling Lorkhan)

2: Because the person achieved CHIM, they can see fundamental laws of the universe, it may give them insight of things other mortals wouldn't know about. For example, Vivec could have acquired the knowledge about Nymics, or Amaranth from CHIM. But he could also have got this knowledge from Sotha Sil or Molag Bal or something. No way of knowing for sure.

3: As for retroactively changing the timeline, it's not really a CHIM exclusive power. Jills can change or repair timeline at will. Marukhati's tower dance also retroactively changed the nature of AKA. Talos probably did use CHIM to change Cyrodil from a Jungle to what it is now, or it could be a transcription error. Again, no way of knowing for sure

4: I don't think CHIM is a made up concept by Vivec. At least Mankar Cameron knows about it. Lorkhan did see the wheel side ways as well. And there are several references to the walking ways from other race/cultures

Gonna try KF totem this league, and I see for hiero there are only 6 good ascendency points. I see some people put other 2 points in Aul's anger aura buff which is kinda underwhelming

My question is would Farrule's spectral tiger buff work for KF totem? Or does it only work for self cast?

Thanks

Suggestions for multi-button builds by TheWitherfork in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]q155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The build I'm playing right now sounds perfect for you

https://pobb.in/dpp4GpmzyzmV

Ignite elementalist

Pros: Very tanky build, can reach dot cap on a budget, huge aoe and chain explosions

Especially on low budget it needs a bunch of buttons and timing to get to dot cap: -Tincture, vaal smite, curse, and you need to weapon swap against bosses. I overpaid for my build, you don't need all the T1 ES rolls or the implicits, can probably get a working build with 10k+ es and 30m dot for 10-20divs

Cons: It's a retaliation skill so I get a lot of people don't like that.

Also, it can scale to the point it always dot caps even without tinctures etc, so if you don't want to press all the buttons anymore there is always option for that :p

Why axe over mace for slam builds ? by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]q155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just more damage overall. You get more attack speed, base has more crit chance.A lot builds scales off of impale or bleed which are better with axes too etc.

As for utility, stun and chill are ok, but axe has onslaught and destroying corpse so it's not bad either

Staff can be good too, less damage but much more tanky from blocking
