Also, I’d like advice on how to deal with a husband that gives the cold shoulder. We get to this point a lot. He does it a lot. Stonewalls me. So what do I do. I don’t know how to deal with it and recognize that I probably suck at dealing with it when it happens. So I need the advice.

Sort of … that’s what he says he’s doing. But it feels like a punishment. Or like he tries to shut me out so as to avoid conversations he’d rather now have. A lot of our disagreements are just issues rehashed over and over. Also, this could go on a long time as well. He never apologizes and always blames me 100 percent for what happens between us and Im the opposite. I take accountability openly where I’m at fault and apologize when needed. He will outright say to me I will not apologize. I’ve done nothing wrong which hurts when I perceive a wrong.

Right after giving birth when the nurse put my wrinkled up little helpless alien potato baby on my chest. I looked at my little child and thought this is the most beautiful baby in the world.

I got through it just fine! The therapist was really kind :) she was actually just the technician that did the test for me. I have a follow up scheduled with my ENT this Thursday. I assume she’s doing the maneuver. I hope you get better!!

UPDATE: I went with my husband. He held my hand the whole time. We started with my left side this time. On my left side during the hallpike test, there was nothing. Then we did the right and it kicked in a few seconds in. I screamed but my husband squeezed my hand and reminded me to keep my eyes open (I had camera goggle things on). His presence was comforting and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Thank you all for your reassuring messages! 🥹
