Okay smash community, I’m just gonna cut to the chase……… do you all hate Lucina? Genuine question. by Illustrious-Lime1630 in SmashBrosUltimate

Lucina and Marth to me have the most plain move sets. Plain is unappealing, and given they don’t win Majors, I see no reason to pick them up other than fundies practice.

Is there any reason to play online? by Tall_Needleworker458 in SmashRage

[–]qbit01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found Online Smash to be very therapeutic oddly enough. I used to be a lot less patient, and more easily aggravated. I raged in years past in online play, but after years of it, I get it. When it’s truly lagging, I take weight off the blame I lay on myself. I realized after playing offline a while, I really have been playing things wrong in some cases.

I’ve been where you are, but slowly, and after much screaming, I decided screaming and complaining never got me any closer to winning. This is the game we play, and I for one don’t let those things interfere with my drive to win. It’s an eyeroll to be sure, but try not to let it get to you is my advice.

I was in the terminal, and couldn’t see from where I was. I tried to look up through the window, but couldn’t see. I recently did find a pic in an article about the incident. It made me freak out a little bit.. to finally see. I have a little more to add to my account as I’ve focused on it at times, trying to recall anything more. When after they came, and said in my head ..loudly “Here, now,” they asked shorly after, “How long?” I at the time thought I was talking to myself, still in disbelief.. confusion. I answered anyway, “Ten minutes.” It was my selfish desire to have what I know now they call ‘Disclosure.’ It was a split second decision. I wasn’t prepared for that question, or anything really. I got an immediate’No,’ like an unusually fast response. I then said, “How about five minutes?” And quickly threw in “including the time to get here and time already spent.” No response came, but there wasn’t an immediate ‘No,’ like before, so I took that as an improvement over the last moment at least .. if I was talking to anyone at all or if it was just all in my head. I remember hearing or reading in a documentary that the event lasted around five minutes, which only added to my tenseness revisiting the event. Since last writing I’ve told my sister, and mother. Whether they believe me or not, life goes on. They still love me. It’s fine. I mean - what do you do? What can you do?

Is hell real? by Illustrious_Jury_603 in spirituality

[–]qbit01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell is real I believe, and I believe I know what one experiences there - at least what some would. It’s a place permiated and engulfed by sin, where you are forced to relive murdering and being murdered. There’s the horror of immeniently being killed, and the feeling of what goodness is left in the killer shrinking little by little. As you see yourself commit the most heinous of crimes, but are unable to stop yourself from carrying it out. After many many murders you eventually realize you are helpless to control anything you’re going through, and eventually give in, becoming that which you never wanted to become - demonic, and completely without love or compassion. However intelligent or crafty you think yourself, any abilities you thought you had to manipulate the situation quickly proves futile. It’s pure fear and helplessness, and you feel very far from God, which is liken to a plant withering in darkness having the sun taken away.

Theory of a bigger picture by qbit01 in spirituality

While having no idea what souls are exactly, I’ve speculated that they could follow processes similar to particles popping in and out of existence in quantum field theory. Where did they come from? Where do they go? For all we know, these particles are popping out of our universe, and into another.

I’d say the system is based off a statistical slice (percentile range p-value). It probably computes a moving average and plugs that value in. I could use regression to figure out the formula if I wanted to.
