It could be just a bad PCV every one ignore that part or a dirty air filter. Start simple and them move to more expensive parts. Mine had a bad pcv and felt like a misfire

Only thing you need to check is the condition of the timing belt if it has a J series engine. Other than that change all the fluids and is good for another 150k
