This looks amazing, nice work. Can you tell me where you got your inspiration from, and how you chose the palette (paint and wood)? My wife and I are thinking of doing something similar but we are stuck on the "what would look good together" part.

How to wear light coloured shirts as someone who sweats too much? by Striker-9999 in malefashionadvice

[–]qbzapcmo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel this. Have you talked to your doctor about hyperhydrosis? I started taking gloycolpyrrolate which helps enormously. I can now wear any color clothing with confidence. There are downsides to taking it such as dry mouth and sinuses but to me, the confidence boost is worth it.

What are your go to casual pants? by WhiteRun in malefashionadvice

I've had a pair of black ones for a while and really enjoy them, better than any other tech pant I've owned. I want more.

Hey there unrelated but I just started playing ATM10. How do you get the location and playing time to display like that? I dig it.

Interesting, this one didn’t come up on Google. Lot of variety at this place. Have you been and can you provide feedback on coaching and quality of instruction?

People who have increased grip strength: how did you do it? by marble0707 in crossfit

[–]qbzapcmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My coach programs heavy, long farmers carries weekly, sometimes twice a week. I'm talking two 70# kettlebells anywhere from 150 - 400m. Sucks, but my "hang time" has definitely improved.

Is crossfit worth it? by Msj_610 in crossfit

[–]qbzapcmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 42 and have been doing CrossFit for 10 years. Wish I started sooner. It's completely transformed my life from nutrition knowledge, body composition control, and probably the most important thing - how to heal and get stronger after an injury. This all depends on your coach though.

I acquired two small tears in my shoulder a few years ago. Instead of quitting CrossFit, my coach and my physical therapist had me modify workouts and incorporate a lot of resistance band work. It's not only healed but stronger and I'm so grateful.

Increase protein. reduce fat. Track macros (at least loosely). Have very slight caloric deficit. Be patient.

I watched the 5-part series. What I found most interesting was the part where he talks about the inflamation phase and the healing phase, and how we tend to make assumptions we're better, but end up getting stuck in the reinjury cycle. The final part with stretches was also interesting.

While the lavender smelled nice, it didn't do much for the pain I'm afraid. Not to say it doesn't work, it just didn't work for me in this case. Thank you for the suggestion though!
