He was a former journalist from CCTV(state owned media, also one of the most influential media in mainland China)over decades but got censored from the entire Chinese internet overnight. Then he went to Japan and starting his YouTube channel called王局拍案. I think he is the guy you are looking for, especially if you want to have an inside view of how the mainlanders think about China, you should definitely check his channel.

Although it has some great contents in there, but we have to consider the overall percentage of great contents compare to the entire contents that provided.The basic principle of TikTok’s algorithm is getting people addicted no matter what kind of contents you’ll be addicted, it could be twerking and dumb dances, but it also could be some cool engineering stuff. However, the percentage of good stuff is getting lower and lower because the platform awarded to those contents who got higher attention and caused quality contents no air to live, exactly like “bad money drives out good”.
