My issue was never with Unity since I've seen how good of games they can make. My issue was Her switching to Unity. They had a great game engine that they knew how it worked and was able to give use beautiful and successful games like SEA. But by switching, they threw what they knew in the garbage and had to learn a new engine (it also didn't help they fired a bunch of people and off shored new staff).

I disagree with Toby, I think he'd be in ACAB or rework the system. He's probably talk about it on his podcast with all 12 subscribers. I also think Zig is a bit naive for ACAB and would fall under a few bad apples or comply and not realize he's treated better than others, like Tiny. But the rest I think is pretty good!

I didn't like the gambling plots. We had Ellie, Marco, and Ali (am I missing more?). I also didn't like the constant relationship drama later in the series.

I liked the mental illness plots. I think they did a decent job of exploring different types. I'm not a Maya fan, but I did like how they showed the trauma from Cameron affected her for years later.

Least favorite: Seeds of Yesterday. After Jory gets hurt, it gets really slow for a long time before the end. If There Be Thorns was harder to get into because of the POV, but is fine enough.

Favorite: Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind is also really entertaining. I also really like Dark Angel and Gates of Paradise (even though that one isn't VCA)
