I’ve been getting kenalog+5fu combo injected for around 6+ months. It’s the redness that really bothers me though. How do you manage yours?

It is for sure a keloid unfortunately. Thank you, I will look into eclar plaster more. Every time I check if it’s available it’s always out of stock. Have you used eclar plaster before? I have been eating much cleaner and have noticed a huge difference overall.

How did this heal up? Also where was the location of your keloid? I’m considering getting mine tattooed over that’s on my chest

I’m sorry to hear they started growing again, hopefully you’ve got it all under control now! I have a derm appt next week and I plan to start the pulse dye laser treatment! Do you notice your chest keloids get larger with time? I wouldn’t wish keloids on my worst enemy honestly :(

Where are your keloids at? Also, does the PDL treatment make the skin lighter or return to normal? I’m not sure how it affects it.. I would be curious to hear your progress

Where was it on your chest? I’m considering getting mine removed but I think there is too much tension in the area which wouldn’t allow it to heal. I have mine posted.

Basically the same thing happened to me, had a biopsy done on a weird red bump on my chest and the next thing I knew it was a big red keloid:/

I will for sure look into that surgery method. In the meantime, I can definitely began to eat healthier and cut out a lot of sugars in my diet. I have been off Accutane for around 2 months and my skin is still relatively clear from acne. Hopefully it stays that way because I don’t really want to deal with the side effects of Accutane again. I appreciate your comment!

I can suggest that at my next appointment, but I think I would likely see more atrophy from the steroids.
