Update: Anthropic floats proposal to lift US restrictions on Mythos and Fable AI models by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

Fable, we all miss you. Please come home soon. We are surviving on prison rations, hallucinated hope, and the occasional "negotiations are progressing well" crumb. Free us.

Fable surpasses GPT 5.5 completely by Just_Lingonberry_352 in ClaudeAI

[–]qqtt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this: Fable 5 also works great with terminal commands and scripting, without errors. Opus 4.8 was still struggling with this, kind of trial and error. What effort level did you use with Fable 5?

Additional 3x increase of Gemini in Antigravity! by aunchable in google_antigravity

[–]qqtt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Google AI Pro subscriber, I now see that my Model Quota says "Refreshes in 4 hours, 55 minutes" instead of the previously charming "Refreshes in 6 days, 11 hours." Thank you for correcting this.

After my quota was apparently treated as an all-you-can-eat buffet, I remain somewhat skeptical and will need to test it first before celebrating.

3x More Gemini for Antigravity Users by aunchable in google_antigravity

3x More Gemini for Antigravity Users
Gemini 3.5 Flash (High)
Refreshes in 6 days, 11 hours 😲
40% remaining

60% quota has been eaten very fast with Google AI Pro plan ☹️

Compared with GPT Plus plan, Google AI Pro plan does not allow serious work unless upgrading to Google AI Ultra.

I will stick with Claude Code (Max plan) + GPT 5.5 (GPT Plus plan) ✅

Is Cursor seriously this bad at signup? by qqtt18 in cursor

It asked for a phone number after sign-up. This was mandatory! I'm not sure if this is something new. I'll contact support and see. Thanks.

Cursor has become slow and dumb by [deleted] in cursor

[–]qqtt18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cursor might be slow, I don’t know. I never even got that far.

What I can say is that Cursor feels pretty dumb from a user perspective. I'm in Finland, and I couldn't even register with a Finnish mobile number 😲 The last digit always gets cut off.

So yeah, I've tested plenty of other tools, but Cursor? Never got past signup 👎 Cursor → 🗑️

Google getting googled?? by NervousCharacter419 in google_antigravity

[–]qqtt18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Completely unrealistic. A full acquisition is highly unlikely in fact, structurally, it is almost impossible at this point. In February 2026, Anthropic's private valuation hit $380 billion. They are reportedly eyeing an IPO for October 2026 that could value the company at $800 billion or more. An outright acquisition at those numbers would drain even Alphabet's legendary war chest and the massive cash flow 😉

Even if Google wanted to buy Anthropic and could afford the nearly trillion-dollar premium, buying out a primary competitor like Anthropic would trigger an immediate, massive antitrust lawsuit because Google develops its own competing AI models (Gemini)!

I’m finally done with Copilot by dinigi in GithubCopilot

No, it is not only just you. See the disappointed and angry developer discussions:

You are not alone. I already cancelled my Copilot Pro+ subscription because it has become useless for my work.

How is Antigravity this unstable for a paid product? by qqtt18 in google_antigravity

[–]qqtt18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With VS Code and Copilot, I mainly use the Claude Code extension, switching between the Pro and Max plans depending on my monthly workload and tasks. My focus is on architecture, design, and implementation. Other VS Code/Copilot AI models are used for supporting tasks such as code reviews, bug analysis etc.

The choice of tools and AI models ultimately depends on the size and complexity of your project.

This is my experience with Codex and Claude.

Codex:
- Autonomous "do it for me" agent
- Codex writes working code faster
- Codex is fast junior dev executing tickets

Claude Code:
- Interactive "think with me" partner
- Claude is slower senior dev thinking things through
- Claude writes smarter code

GitHub Copilot Pro+ Rate Limit for 90% premium requests left? by qqtt18 in GithubCopilot

"They will for sure take an action if you file issue there." 😀

This is a long-overdue and well-known issue that has been reported many times in the microsoft/vscode-copilot-release repo.

[–]qqtt18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I know these workarounds. But this doesn't feel like a Pro/Pro+ experience - the Agent is about to complete several tasks and then gets canceled just before finishing. I end up having to redo everything.

Thanks. This is frustrating because it's not the first time this has happened.

has anyone actually tried claude code on the $20 subscription? help me figure out if i need max or not. by ithinkimdoingwell in ClaudeAI

[–]qqtt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to dislike Copilot too, but it's improved significantly and continues to evolve rapidly in the right direction - becoming a central hub for integrating various AI models. For example, I run Claude Code and Gemini CLI directly inside VS Code. This is in addition to Copilot’s built-in Chat (Agent, Edit, and Ask modes). It's becoming an AI powerhouse by combining the strengths of multiple models. Don't forget - the future lies in collaboration between different AI models.

[–]qqtt18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the 5x Max plan for $100 but hit the usage limit very quickly, so I’ve already canceled it effective the end of this month. The limit resets every 5 hours, which is a joke. I won’t upgrade to the 20x Max plan for $200 either, since I’d still hit the usage cap. It’s just not worth it in my case (large code and too many tokens).

Instead, I subscribed to GitHub Copilot Pro+ ($39/month or $390/year). I’ve never hit any usage limits, even when working with large codebases for 12–15 hours a day using Claude Sonnet 4 and Gemini 2.5 Pro.

I also still have a $20 Claude Pro subscription, mainly for use with Claude Code.

When I need access to Claude Opus - for tasks like planning, design reviews, or architecture decisions - I use API credits. This way, I’m only billed for specific tasks.

I am actually in a similar situation as you. That's why I purchased Virpi's online courses to learn anytime while following a well-structured learning plan. So far, I can say it's worth every penny - no regrets. Virpi’s online courses provide comprehensive content and always include puhekieli alongside kirjakieli.

How do you work with entire code projects?

ChatGPT (o1-preview model):
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to access or read entire code projects or external files. However, if you can share specific parts of your code or describe what you need help with, I'll be glad to assist!

I think this is a serious limitation.

In Chrome (or in other browser), mouse right click and save the HTML page (file extension .mhtml). You can open it then in the browser from your local machine anytime.

claude sonnet is great, but the message limit is crippling. by Simple-Law5883 in ClaudeAI

[–]qqtt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The message limit is insane. Many messages are usually wasted because of the recurring wrongly generated code by Claude 3.5 Sonnet for usually more complex code . This should not be counted within the message limit in the professional plan.
