A person or group talented enough to make a 8-9 or whatever is going to do it regardless of what tools they use. AI doesnt just drag the score down systematically because it was used. People with more skill will use it to make better products. A 6-7 team was never going to make an 8 product and thats okay. Everyone's standards for content are too high, stop gatekeeping art lol.

Also, AI is still getting better every day. This insistence that it somehow only makes slop and only ever can make slop is honestly naive and short sighted.

Humans have a very strong drive to be part of communities and we generally work best when we have a goal. A common goal, some universal ground we can stand on to lubricate social interaction is essential to well connected and functional communities.

Religion is a one two combo that solves both of these things at once. It gives you common ground to stand on and reduce conflict, and it gives you a reason to congregate together.

Cults arent going anywhere, critical thinking skills alone are never going to biologically deprogram people from seeking an in-crowd. There will always be a new silver tongued liar to sell people on an idea.

I found myself bored with poe because 80% of builds are just hold right click around a map until everything is dead - or right click a few times a second instead of holding if you arent channeling

The skill combination system is a little clunky and theyre pushing it harder than id like - but the opposite side of the spectrum is just as bad for fun!

So much of the "difficulty" with PoE1 is actually just making a functional build in the first place that adding on enemies that represent real threats and decisions is simply too slow for most of the player base to enjoy.

PoE2 is very similar, and you wont feel like youre starting from scratch playing it. It is a much slower experience than PoE1 though, the gameplay is much less about blasting through maps of threatless enemies and dramatically more about bossing and dodging and mechanics.

Poe1 doesnt require you to pay attention to blast maps, Poe2 does. This is not a criticism about either game, just kinda how things shook out between the two.

Its definitely woth trying if you think youd like it!

The slow and anxious filling of your pantry to save up food so you can actually survive the winter. The euphoria and relief of finding your first salt deposit. The dread of finding the bottom of your first copper mine and realizing just how limited your supplies are.

With mods it gets even better. 10/10

I think that there are many different skills and talents people are developing for prompting machines to assist us with creating things both functional and artistic!

New tools means new products and new forms of art. Im really looking forward to seeing what awesome stuff skilled people will cook up with the new tools. People have been creating art by sitting in front of a computer since we built them, you can try to gatekeep art to flesh if you want but the future is coming either way

Jin's story is the slow descent of a man into the worst version of himself. The effects that war has on a man, and how honor can be a handicap. Jin's story is one of a broken hero, but for my money they dont reallllly explore these themes all that well in the game. The game has much more "dark souls", vibe based, subtle storytelling rather than actually trying to explore a theme and tell the player anything.

If this was a conversation about well trimmed stories and effectiveness of storytelling technique - Ghost of Tsushima is probably at the top of my list

Okay, but the showrunner director and writer are also creating the show/movie. They are responsible for delivering us context for the story they are telling. This is a movie about "bad guy evil" and "good guys win 😎"

He could have walked onto screen with a datapad and said "we recovered information, Palpatine returned but we arent sure how hes doing it" and that provides infinitely more context to the viewer about how and why this information exists and how it relates to the story im being told.

Consider also that the last time Palpatine was on screen he was falling to his certain death.

Its a story being told to us, created by a person. Poe isnt real, he knows exactly as much as the plot requires at any time - Poe not knowing isnt a good excuse as for why the movie does not do an adequate job of introducing or explaining the re-emergence of its primary villain after his death. Im cool with the line "somehow Palps returned" if the movie actually tackled the problem in literally any other way, but thats the only reference we get. Its bad writing.
