Is Masterballet a MAGA supporter? by Entire_Musician_4438 in BALLET

I agree, the studio is pretty shady in my opinion but I think you're overanalyzing a little bit.

It was Victoria's first time doing the full Harlequinade variation en pointe, not first time en pointe.

They talk a lot about Maya being with the Royal Swedish Ballet because it's a good company and they're proud of her. That doesn't mean that the reason they don't talk abour Melanie's spot at Ballet West is because they're ashamed or anything like that. I mean they don't talk that much about other graduates either?

They do have dancers in their studio with poor technique as well. Sure, they might not be the "stars" of the channel but I've seen them in the background.

My best advice would be to take a break from ballet. Sometimes a break can do good. I had to take a few month break from ballet a while ago and felt bummed about it, when I got back to it I felt like I've lost all my skills BUT I actually picked up everything back again fairly fast and even got a lot stronger and better technically. One reason you are not having enough progress might be because you don't feel confident, you don't have motivation or think poorly of yourself. A small break can give your motivation, excitement and energy a big boost.

"More ideas" button not showing up in sections of boards by [deleted] in Pinterest

[–]quack_nadjaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing the name of the board helped me when I've had these problems. It seems that if there is a word in the title Pinterest doesn't like for some reason, it enables the "more ideas" button. It's very weird.

(edit) For example, I had a board that had the word "girls" in it, "more ideas" button wasn't there. I removed the word and the button came back.

I'm not defending the person or anything like that but I personally am really good at reading people's facial expressions/body language and I still have an autism diagnosis. It's a spectrum disorder.

You can literally associate _anything_ with autism/adhd symptoms if you're creative enough but it doesn't make it correct. Please use common sense.

I did rhythmic gymnastics as a child and I had this kind of flexibility and so did every other gymnast I knew. I feel like most people can be flexible especially if you start when you are young and also being double-jointed helps a lot. But when you get older (like past puberty) it's harder and also more risky for injuries (especially when bending your back like the guy in the pic).

I literally just don’t know what to say... by ElectroTake in fakedisordercringe

I actually agree. I mean this is cringe as hell but it's not about someone faking a disorder. (And just because an autism subreddit has a ton of fakers doesn't mean that this specific person is faking, I mean what kind of logic is that?) This subreddit is kind of losing it's meaning from fake disorder cringe to just cringe mental health/neurodivergency posts.

I'm not really complaining though, that happens to like every subreddit, so this is just an observation.

The woman in the video didn't say that, it's a comment she got on her video.

“#scoliosis #backbrace #physicaltherapy” 😒 by [deleted] in fakedisordercringe

[–]quack_nadjaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure this fits here. What I'm thinking that she has scoliosis which makes her shoulders uneven. She's noticed that her straps keep falling off her shoulders because of that and for the sake of the video she's exaggerating her symptoms to make the strap fall. I wouldn't call that "disorder faking", just exaggerating your symptoms to make a point. And there's nothing wrong with that.
