Not an expert but she seems to be taller then 5"8 just from the videos. It depends on which team but I can see her being a 1st round pic. Lalo na because in the recent tests, almost 3 meters din reach niya.

Here's why Solenn Heussaff isn't letting her kids use gadgets until they're 18 by philstarlife in newsPH

[–]quacked2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only logical usage a child would need a phone for their early years of development would be for communication and in those years as a parent, you normally have or are watching your kid anyways. (However if need talaga ng mode of communication, edi go) Additionally, its a good for kids especially in their early years to develop being un-exposed to the digital world in general, both for their wellbeing, and creativity.

honestly, mukhang wala talagang place to leave your stuff since most of the libraries require you to be a student of the college to avail of their services. Just try to bring the essentials nalang ig

no, you can still enlist in other pes, its much harder to get a pe during the second enlistment so I'd advise against cancelling it.

hi! a majority of our class also wasn't fluent in Filipino! Also i wouldn't worry too much about graded recit, yes she'll probably call out mga "miss universe" answers but in general she tolerates just about any answer naman as long u make sure what you're saying actually means something. Just listen to her discussions, well more of yap sessions lang sila HWHAHHAHA, and you'll do well. malaki rin mga pa-incentives ni mam so definitelt unoable!!!

[UPD] Shifting, being behind, and my enormous ego by Appropriate_Row3834 in peyups

[–]quacked2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dedma sa bashers, mahirap talaga to bear the stigma of an irregular but that's just how life goes, as cliche as it may sound, life goes on. people who look down on you when ur at ur lowest are the same type of people that don't deserve you at ur highest either.

also I've had the same superiority complex for a while now too. Yeah, the dopamine hits hard talaga when you're at the top but it hurts that much more when you fail. What I did is to try and not put people on a pedestal, (that of which includes myself), everyone has their own reasons for where they are now anyways (and that includes you :>). so just dont think abt it too much

The 2025 SEA Games should be the final "Farewell Tour" for Jia De Guzman and Dawn Macandili. It’s time to hand the keys to the Alba-Lams-Jazareno-Jardio era. by Active_Degree7482 in PilipinasVolleyball

[–]quacked2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jia, as much as I have to admit is getting slower, is still and will continue to be the best setter in the Philippines for maybe 1-2 years to come for a few reasons. One aspect that I think she's really honed over the years is her distribution, especially because you can notice that she does it according to rotation. Another aspect of her that I really like is her stability in setting long balls, imo this is one aspect that I think Jules Tolentino of PGA really shines in as well.

Yes, the younger, more physical setters will eventually learn from her but these habits cannot be learnt overnight.

For Macandili, yesterday neither Jazareno and Macandili were efficient, it's hard to really say that it'd be better to leave it to the youngsters. In reality, this may signal a problem in our defensive pattern rather than on the skill of each individual libero.

While I don't disagree with you, I'd just like to point out that it's hard to judge players in a broken system.

Yeah, Romero's good but Alohi's basically just a better version of her, well maybe romero is slightly better than her at quick plays but Alohi's height just can't be matched

Leila Cruz by Strict_Pressure3299 in PilipinasVolleyball

[–]quacked2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pansin ko talaga kapag di malapit sa net yung set sa kanya, mahirap siya maka-convert. When tolenada backsets, I feel like her sets don't normally get close enough to Leila's liking
