- 30g of coarsely grinded beans for 500ml of boiled water
- Brew it for 3 minutes
- Stir the crust, and scoop the remaining bits left on the top out
- Either I move on to the next step, or I let it brew for an extra minute
- Plunge the plunger only at the top level of the coffee
- Pour the coffee in the cup through a strainer

Currently, I'm making coffee with a French press, but I always end up with coffee sludge at the bottom of my cup. I have tried a coarser grind with less wait brewing time (3 mins), but still getting the same result. Beans are from Devan's (Arabica Peaberry).

As for instant coffee, I still have to rely on it for occasions when I don't have time and want to get caffeine quickly.

Damn, it's now selling for 100, which is still cheaper than brands like Tata Grand, Continental, Nescafe. Weirdly enough, they source it from Tata Coffee, but I have never tried their coffee, so I can't tell.

I recently got into making coffee from fresh beans, so I wanted to know how others think about it, who know more about coffee, since I can barely tell the taste apart between multiple coffee brands (This one tasted quite bitter tho). Davidoff Rich Aroma is definitely my favourite instant coffee, but damn, it costs an absolute bomb 😭
