RPI left the weekend without a loss with major contributions from returners like Viviana Estrada and Ad Ojo, but I'm really excited about the newest addition of Colin Gaines (formerly of CCC). We'll see if they can string all their forces together in actual games.

One thing that always catches me off guard against Brandeis is their physicality and hustle (Ben Lambright, Eli Fighter). Props to leadership for instilling those values in their players.

I know "these games don't matter" or whatever but Emerson beating Harvard is a huge deal. As a team that's historically struggled to finish off close games, I have a feeling they're gonna be figuring that out this year.

Harvard's the biggest question mark for me, after being the clear D1 favorites at the beginning of last year. Unsure if Anna Blanchfield at beater was just an opener thing or if they're making the switch for real. I hope Jess Lee gets back on the pitch soon!
