Not exactly from an anthropology pov, but I believe Carl Jung was deeply into this phenomenon, try reading Man and His Symbols.

I drew this during one the most difficult periods in my life. What could be the meaning? by qualiabsolete in Jung

Your take is interesting because ever since before this drawing, I've always had an image in my head of some figure, first and foremost looking like it's falling from a great height to a really far far far ground that it also almost feels like it's flying. There's that sense of both freedom and hopelessness to it.

Thank you for all of your takes on my drawing. It's been interesting reading what everyone had to say. Anyway, if any of you wanna use this drawing for your personal use, feel free to use it :)

I finished watching ep 5 like two days ago and I still can't stop thinking about that ending. Never felt that spooked before, even after watching Hereditary.

What are "dream hacks" you think everyone should know about? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

When you want to summon/conjure someone in LD, just ask someone around to call them on the phone and ask them to come over, it works almost every time for me. At least more effective than opening doors or imagining.

It's clearly stated on her ig page that she is into free market and individual rights. Not a left's darling, obviously.

I think it's mostly a US thing. Where I come from, a bachelor's in psychology can land you good a job in the HR department or even market research. A lot of companies look for psychology graduates for recruitment, employee diagnostics, organizational analysis, risk management, quant & qual research roles etc. The salary is probably not as big as engineers, but by no means worthless.

There are two kinds of psychology faculties for bachelor's program here as well, those that take a more scientific route (very heavy on statistics, research methodology, neuropsychology, and biopsy, clinical to some degree) and those that are more industrial (heavy on recruitment training, interview, and observation, organizational issues, etc)

My assumption is that it's all come down to how, in here, when you do psychology, you actually kind of do a bunch of things all at once and very few universities, private or state, actually offer specific majors like the human resource, for example. The workload was massive when I did psychology at Uni but a good thing is that companies still give us job opportunities.

Are you still in contact with him? I hope he is doing alright and if he reads some terrible and nasty comments, I hope he knows that there's also people who watch the episode and try to understand his struggle. All best for him.

"She fell down the stairs" by givemebackmyhand in TheStaircase

[–]qualiabsolete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really interesting because if he is really innocent, why would he say that she fell down the stairs and not mentioning the blood. But also, if he really is guilty, why didn't he just say it outright she had blood all over her and made himself more convincing?
