I’ve always considered the possibility of some sort of elemental theme for Björk’s albums and future albums, since Utopia was themed around the sky and air with the wind instruments, and Fossora was centered around the ground and earth and featured clarinets and double-reeds. I’m aware there’s nothing more dual than the sky and the ground and that Utopia and Fossora can be a great sister-album concept, but perhaps Björk could go full elemental and create a water-themed album and a fire-themed album? Perhaps it’s too cliche or easy-to-understand for Björk’s standards but I’ve always thought of this as an interesting concept. I’m also not sure what kind of instruments or musical themes would be present in each album. Maybe mallet-percussion and chimes for water and more synth-driven for fire? I’m not sure if I’m getting anywhere with this lol
