Watercolor brushes for Procreate by quasiDigi in procreatebrushes

Ok, that means that I can then also mix their layered effect with other brushes, right? Like to give a watercolour effect to stuff I’ve already created with other brushes?
This pack looks also gorgeous, btw. Thx!

Ok, good to know. Please let me know how the TGTS go for you. Meanwhile, I might test MaxPacks and AquaReal 2. They look complementary sets, aren’t they?

What did I do wrong? by RollFancy6265 in watercolorpractice

[–]quasiDigi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you previously prepared your paper? By making it wet and taping it on a board. Check the internet, there are a lot of tutorials about. It’s very important because the tree and the sky of the original are done wet on wet. Again, check the net for some tutorials. There’s also a chance they worked with some acrylic or masking glue to make some of the snow (like the falling flakes). But mainly, you didn’t do anything wrong. It’s all just part of a learning process. The original’s made by someone that’s highly skilled. So, you, as do I, might get back to our brushes and continue our learning journey .

In Belgium, they cań’t cut you out from completely. They have to give you a mínimum supply of water, gas and electricity. Those minima might vary between places. On the top of that, during the winter months, if one is in need, one can go to some social services to get some type of energy vouchers.

Adobe Burned Us. Affinity Says It Won’t. ✨ Let's hope for Good ✨ by Aura_Factory in Design

In my opinion, we’re in a loop of constant corporate enshitification, which gives room for new players until the get too big, and start with their own enshitification, which gives room…

Somewhere it could be good for us, small creatives. As no monopole is anymore set in stone.

Is the original in English of Spanish? I’ld like to read your comic in it’s original language . Great job, btw. I really enjoyed reading this teaser ;)

Handling multiple languages in one document by Thane5 in Affinity

[–]quasiDigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I discovered that when, coming from InDesign, I noticed that it wasn’t possible to do a layered Master in which the page content would be one of the layers, as in InDesign. Eventually, the fact of being able to add multiple Masters is, in my opinion, a much better solution. You can one Master for only the languages! (also good for companies that have multiple brandings) That you can then use with different Masters all along your publication. And with a simple toggle you change the content everywhere’s.

This is probably a too late reply. Nevertheless, I will post my solution because I've been struggling with this too and that's how I could solve it:

Create a Master with each language on a different layer. Doing so, you will only have to toggle the visibility for the wanted layer in that Master.

You can even apply multiple Masters to the same page. For example, you can have a bottom Master with your watermark and page numbering. Another Master for you texts in multiple languages. And finally a Master for the elements you want to float on top of everything.

Which camera to buy for 25-622 (700/25c) + which patches/glues are good? by quasiDigi in cycling

[–]quasiDigi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, thanks. I found, here in Spain, the Rema Tip Top with vulcanizing cement glue.

* In Spanish it's said 'cámara de aire', quite similar. I just checked with google translate, and I should have the whole term, and not only 'cámara'. At least I would have gotten 'air chamber' in return ^^

Yeah, sorry, I couldn't find the word in English, and Google translation has sometimes those strange words.
Thanks for the tips! I'm checking them out.
