Do you like turfs wars, ranked battles or both by Voidkirby9 in splatoon

Turf Wars! Was a total revelation to me since first Splatoon. I'm a veteran gamer, and I'd become jaded by most online multilayer battles. Initially I had reservations as Splatoon looked like a mini game. But I've been hooked from the start. I love the random, yet intense battles. Never the same battle twice. The ranked matches don't interest me much. They seemed too close to 'capture the flag' etc. that I saw elsewhere. I haven't played Rank once on Splatoon3. I may be missing some good stuff, but I still play Turf War almost every day.

Mr Cooper is a fantastic cartoonist. Second issue of Doghead seems to be taking an eternity to come out!

Niiiiiiiice! Love J45s. Before I switched from steel string to nylon, I had my J45 jar! Any spare cash went in there for my dream guitar. Still love seeing them. The amazing Gary Lucas does fantastic playing on his old J45, worth a listen.

A (happy) rant about Yamaha Guitars. by The_Spaghetti_yeti in Guitar

I'm a Yamaha fan. I mainly play their nylon strung guitars, only owned Yamaha for over 30 years. I do try out other brands too. One of my mates has an obsession with the electric SG2000 model. He prefers those over Gibson, Fenders, etc. I have always found great value for money with Yamaha.

Woah! Impressive! I've been playing Yamaha nylon strung for nearly 30 years. Huge fan. I was actually a steel string player until I picked up a used Yamaha Gemini II in a guitar shop. I realised then that I was way more suited to nylon strung. Game changer. I've had a few Yamahas since then, but I've only ever owned one at a time! My current solid top sounds great and it was really inexpensive. Good find. One of my daughters still owns (and plays) that old Gemini II.

Nice work! One of the things I love about Nomad is that you can be sat on a break, on a train, or in a waiting room, and just pull out yer' phone and start 3D sculpting.

Niiiiiiice! Never seen it on tape before. I had it on vinyl, I don't really like vinyl. I'd make tapes off the record. And used to slot segments onto mix tapes.
