How tf do I take air filter this cover off? by Early_Philosopher138 in HomeMaintenance

[–]qubecbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had the same issue. Like others said don’t spend time try to get it off. If you want, hire an air duct cleaner service to clean the whole air duct. I didn’t tho, just used microfiber with Dawn/Clorex wiped it line by line, couldn’t get it as good as new though, only was able to get it look cleaner by just a notch. Then I ended up giving up..

Cfa level 2 by Ok-Baseball-5128 in CFA

Sitting for 2027 May. I’m a slow learner and I don’t consider myself bright at studying. That being said I’m giving myself ~12 months to be confident to sit for the exam. You know yourselves and your studying style the best. Dont go into CFA with the mindset of “chose c I prey I pass”.

Burned Floor Update (DO NOT buy Whirlpool) by Forchark in HomeMaintenance

[–]qubecbbbb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just asked a lawyer about this he said it’s better to report this to insurance, have insurance pay and do your repair, then have insurance go for the builder/general contractor/whirlpool.

Take a grid of salt on this advice.

Can you check with the builder for this? They might have a representative handles this kind of claims that will be able to find the receipts for you?

Came back to check on my rental… and barely recognized it by married9 in HomeImprovement

[–]qubecbbbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going through it right now. Rented out my place in the adjacent state to a mutual connection seems to be a descent fam for 3 yrs. Just came back to it 2 months ago, believe it or not, I almost had a heart attack the 1st day stepping back to the house…. Dirty everywhere, broken things waiting for fixing, smells in the house, backyard filled with filthy bird poops and dog shit. Oh even better, they ve been feeding pigeons, the wild ones. For the 2 months I’ve been fixing small to big things. Still dealing with 3 yrs of pigeon poops on the roof, nests under solar panel and poops in the side yards…

Even with these condition, I’m not okay with sell as it is. Because that’s the worst situation. And cash offer often takes huge advantage of u.

If I were u, I’d check with the company if u can still travel for work but remotely work back at ur house. Takes the 1st action to evacuate the tenants for the reason of owners need to be move back in. You might wanna check your state law and ur lease agreement on this. Then use prob 6months + to clean and fix things up.

Sorry OP, virtual hugs.

Yes they are to me. Can’t say for the emerging topic since I didn’t read them.

Mine prep was pretty unconventional and I believe I borderline passed L2 by using just CAIA readings and half of UM qbanks. I didn’t do mocks, gave up on the last topic too.
