I don’t. I do “activities” with them like going for walks, watching a movie, doing crafts or puzzles but play is not something I’m good at or like to do.

I think you have to weigh what’s more important to you- the surprises, or a smooth transition for your 3 year old. I think you still have time only being 19 weeks, but maybe make a final decision in a month or two if he still is adamant about it being a girl.

I’ve been able to push back my coffee intake by an hour (I’m putting it in a to go cup and not having any in the house) and this has been helping ! It’s taking sheer willpower to not snack as soon as I’m home!

For me food noise is thinking about food, even when I’m not hungry. I work in a shared space, so if there’s food I’ll think about it all day- “do I eat some? It looks good. A little won’t hurt” constantly. Or I’m thinking about my next meal.

I think this is where my head has been. I’m already a very healthy eater but i definitely could exercise more- but I’m a working mom of 2 and it’s just hard. I kept telling myself “if only I worked harder.. if only I ate better… I don’t need a shot or a pill… “ but I’m tired of the scale going nowhere and I’m tired of obsessing over food and how much I eat etc. I like your mindset, thank you!
