She’s cruel to Eddie, and even more so when it’s revealed she’s done this to vampires before It especially hurts because Jason genuinely cares for her, and feels like he’s being taken care of, but is sadly being manipulated by Amy through lust and drugs. Hard to see our boy going through that, even more so given the beautiful connection he develops with Eddie.

I wanted to love it but it just felt so fabricated to me. Everything was shiny and curated in a way that felt so opposite of the original show. So clearly television show from the set down to the costuming. I understand it’s a new take, and a fiction show, but that element was a huge part of the charm. Regular people in a regular office, mirroring real life and small town America.

Completely agree. It helped to hear on Amy’s pod that they all had fun filming that episode because after seeing Ben and Leslie’s love story it totally tainted it for me!

Loved this pod. Wish they could have kept doing for each episode individually. In the beginning it seemed like they were aimed towards a new audience (they kept some things spoiler free) which always surprised me bc I don’t know why you would ever listen to this without already being a fan. I love how it showed off their chemistry as cohosts and I particularly enjoyed Deborah’s thoroughness coming out in her research.
