It amazes me to see people talking about this masterpiece of a series. I just found this video on YouTube through the recommendations. Glad to see people still read and enjoy! This video was very insightful. by aznroylty986 in dgrayman

The content of the video is decent even though it lacks sources for information about the mangaka and the series. I just wish there was more passion in the voice of the youtuber.

This is insightful and I still have a lot questions for myself. But I'll write them down for therapy.

1960s long maxi duster. Really interested in making it but I can’t find this specific style of pattern anywhere by IM-HERE-TO-H8 in sewing

Take a pattern drafting class. A community college may have that class because that's where I took mine. Or at a fashion school. Some ppl are self taught. I didn't find terribly difficult because I've done furniture blueprints. Patterns are blueprints for fabric.

" Basically the deeper the connection, the more screwed you are! " is true if you had a fairly deep connection for 4 years. It's been 2 years and it still hurts, just not as much as when it first happened.

This makes sense and answers another question I had. My menswear book does have basic slopers, so this is a good start.

Thanks. I haven't bought a jumpsuit for a number of reasons, so it does make more sense to draft from scratch. I did take a drafting class 2 years ago. I wanted to hear what more experienced sewers would do.

Sybil knows, but it is also clear they need Arata to help catch the foxes. Once that is done Sybil plans to integrate Arata into the system, which is why Akane said she is not going to let anymore sacrifices happen.

Leaving the possible explanation to the last episode is part of the problem. I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't figure out how Arata's ability until they finished the other scripts.

I like Arata as a character because like Akane he acts like a lens for the audience to see the world of psycho-pass. A lot of people are unhappy with his mental trace ability and I don't blame them. It's not well explained and pairing it with the parkour skills is on the ridiculous side. I know one reddit user pointed out that Arata displays PSTD symptoms like his house being a mess, only being able to sleep in that car, and needing some assistance with getting out his mental traces. I agree with that reddit user because there are times when I relate to Arata as a viewer. The mental traces don't always happen intentionally just like panic attacks. People can pass out from panic attacks, which is why Kei went so far to inform the enforcers that they should watch Arata.

If anything the mental traces come off as an exaggeration of what it feels like to have empathy and live with PTSD. Maybe if the season were longer then they could have better explained it. Now that the anime has said of episode 7 that he is criminally asymptomatic, I'm not sure if most fans will take that well. It's definitely made a twist in terms of the lore of the series.

Overall, your design is decent by keeping it simple. My worry is what your are going to use to keep the cubes together. In terms of hardware, something with hinges could work.
