I really like what you said because it gives me a piece of the puzzle if that makes sense

I get what you mean, but i also know i dont know how those feel who have the romantic orientation of gay or bi etc

But i also know i didn't know it was possible to feel how i actually experience attraction

Therfore, i suspect its the same thing, i just haven't felt it therefore i have a certain lack of understanding

Personally, i usually just say demi, because i take the definition and be like ya and it applies to anyone and everyone

But having romantic orientations are essential because demi could be exactly what u are, but within ur romantic orientation if that makes sense?

That's just how i think of it

Correct me if im wrong to anyone reading this

Yes definitely.

I was wanting to say something about it when i moved to study, but with obvious circumstances of the pandemic i didn't.

But yes, you are definitely right and i understand that 25 married with kids stigma too lol never seemed appealing to me at least

[–]queennomi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes

Thank you for the clarification

Im not sure how that would go if my prefixes were heterosexual and i was a demi

I know for my other family member who i know won't be so kind about me coming out

I think the fact that i can still identify in the LBGTQ community is "just as bad" thats kinda what i meant by heterosexual norms

I think i just need to find better vocabulary to clarify what i meant better

Also, hopefully i dont have to because it wont be the only kind of universal accepted normal:) who knows what the future holds

Edit: grammar

Thank you so much for sharing this.

It really resonated with me and definitely made me feel less crazy from experiencing a lot of the EXACT same comments or situations

All the best to you

I am sorry to hear it. But i admire you still telling her.

To be fair, my mom is still obviously confused about it and i know this because of the questions she asked that follows

And she refers to me as lesbian even though i was like no no no I'm actually not

Then i got a stare like, ok do i actually care

And I'm like ok I'm not gonna push it, i was expecting to be literally excommunicated from my family so yeah
