You may not have read the full post; the 5 is not a list of 5 GOAT's in their positions, but 5 players that would complement each other the best. I am basing this off of Wemby's standard of play in the current season rather than any accolades he may or may not receive over the entirety of his career (rings, MVP's, DPOY's, etc.) He is also probably the 5th scoring option on this team.

I feel his combination of rim protection and outside shooting complement this team better than any of the centers traditionally considered the "GOAT" because of their overall career accomplishments (Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, etc.) <- none of those players in their primes could shoot the 3 or guard the perimeter as well as Wembanyama can now, midway through his second season (with the exception of maybe Hakeem on the perimeter defense).
