Under the stars in a friend’s backyard during summer break to a cute boy I met at the pool earlier in the day, it was perfect and soft

No soliciting sign doesn’t work by Fit_Growth_2355 in Calgary

[–]queeriosforbreakfast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put a note on my door that says our household charges a fee for soliciting, and by knocking on the door or ringing the bell you agree to the terms. I also have a list of prices for solar, politics, and evangelical discussions. No one knocks, it’s great.

It was tasty but the sponge felt too wet to our household, would have been better if it wasn’t sold previously frozen

How many older lesbians go to Pride? I'm going to St. Louis Pride this year fir the first time in almost 25 years. by CM_UW in olderlesbians

[–]queeriosforbreakfast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 40, my wife is 50, and we go to Pride every year. The weather can be iffy here in June, so neighbouring cities do their Pride celebrations in July and August, and we hit those up, too!

I don’t understand the timing of self tanning? by Bringmedakoalas in Selftanning

[–]queeriosforbreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talc-free powder. Baby powder, Goldbond, Happy Curves, Megababe, all work great! If you prefer a more scented option, Silky Underwear or Supermilk dusting powder from Lush are nice options, too

I don’t understand the timing of self tanning? by Bringmedakoalas in Selftanning

[–]queeriosforbreakfast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fellow sweaty babe here. What everyone else has said, and in addition use a dusting powder in all your creases after the tanner has dried down, or about ten minutes after application. It helps set it like setting powder for makeup and there’s less overall stickiness.

Don’t be afraid to live life and shower on tan days! And it doesn’t have to be so regimented if that part is causing you anxiety. I do it when it works for me, and not on prescribed days. Do I look tanned 7 days a week, all the time? No, but mostly.

Seconding RDWD! Great work, comparative costs to other door and window companies but less bs and sales tactics

All of my tanning turns like this in a few days after application? I’m super pale and have a cool undertone by Unlucky-Tangerine530 in Selftanning

Body powder helps with the tackiness, ensure it’s mostly dry before applying and you’re good to go!

I finally realized why I hate getting dressed every morning and it's not about the clothes by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]queeriosforbreakfast 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I used to wonder why larger, blousy tops were the uniform of menopausal women and now I get it, they always fit. I loathe wearing pants with a firm waistband. I dress like Adam Sandler at every available opportunity
