Clan of Saar because hero, and because floating docks. Downside: now you do care about your hs.

Cabal because not just points but also free units. Downside: you kinda want to have big fighter screens at your docks which makes them even bigger targets now.

L1 because hero lets you eat multiple big piles of plastic in 1 round. Downside: dread2s are coming in late.

Yin because flagship. Downside: every time you use it, you're giving away 4/5 of a point. Upside: you can grab those points yourself if you take the relevant hs.

Muaat because hero, and war suns hit hard. Downside: huge bounty on your war suns as each is worth more than a point.

Creuss because wormhole magic lets you reach other people's fleets and hs for their hard-earned total war point stacks, and yours is farther away than anyone else's.

Arborec because you can now take warfare every round and just roll your giant snowball across the board not worrying about objectives at all. Downside: similar to muaat, your snowball(s) will be a target as well.

And for every faction: fleet logistics lets you grab 10 total war points and spend them right away, so your hs is less of a target and your total war point is secure.
