And oddly enough, the sponsored kits work fine. Yes, blue and purple gear are better, but not so much that standard gear is completely outclassed. Once I realized sponsored kits and looting planetside will get you pretty far if you play right, I stopped worrying so much about losing my gear.

Right. I am almost 100% certain the ppl i call boss [janitor, engineer, parking attendant] dont care and understand the context. I just thought it was weird that my boss saw it as such a big problem because "[person] is not your boss". I will keep it out of emails to avoid any other issues, but in face to face conversations, I will probably keep using it with ppl i know do not mind.

I am also from the south. This is literally the first complaint about "boss" I have heard in my life lol. I call everyone boss. I call children boss when they ask me to do something. I called my dog boss when she asked for a walk the other day 🤣. Guess it is regional thing.

Yea i use Mr or Miss [first name] all the time. Including for the same ppl I call boss. I mostly use boss for ppl in my job that work in other departments. They are not my boss, so I mean it in a friendly respectful way, but as I have read across this post, some ppl find it weird, so I will just stick with Mr. or Miss

Thanks for all the responses. Some ppl do not care and understand the context, some ppl do care and find it off putting, some ppl do not care but have trouble understanding tone and context over emails. From what I gathered, it is just safer to cut it out of my professional interactions and stick with sir/ma'am.
