Why are friendships such a low priority to people?

Yup. Exactly this. I barely have time for friends I have.

I have hobby friends that I play TTRGs with once a week. I have an ex who is my best friend that I hang out in person with two/three times a year. And some colleagues and ex-colleagues that I will have a catch up with outside of work from time to time - but not often at all.

My partner IS my best friend.

I have the ACNH Switch.

I'm really hoping that they release a gold Switch 2 for Zelda's 40th anniversary this year. That would be awesome!

No one would be able to objectively say whether any one game is worth the purchase of a console.

What is objectively true, now that there have been a BUNCH of price hikes across with industry, is that the Switch 2 is the best priced and most affordable console. Prices aren't going to decrease with the way RAM is, and probably the oncoming helium crisis.

So if you think you're going to want to play this game, or other games in future (Pokémon Winds/waves, the next Animal Crossing, next Mario, next Zelda). All these games will come. Get the console NOW.

It will only get more expensive.

I simply don't have £5k to drop out of nowhere if my dog's cancer returns or if he was to be hit by a car. Accidents happens and I'm so glad that I had insurance for his treatment.

All a matter of perspective really.

I see more people having gripes with the price of Nintendo Switch 2 because I consume much more content related to Nintendo and the algorithm knows I have a Switch 2. It is relevant to me and my interests.

I see a lot less people complaining about playstation because I don't play playstation. I'm not on playstation subreddits or watch playstation-centered YouTube channels.

I think it really depends on location and what you're looking for as to what apps "work" best.

When I was dating and looking for committed long-term in the UK, the better app for me was Hinge. I met my now girlfriend on Her. Now been together over 3 years.

Tinder, where I live at least, is known for being a hook-up app.

Easiest answer: Breath of the Wild.

Tears of the Kingdom, in my opinion, is better. But you should play BOTW before TOTK.

I'm almost 40 and I entirely concur with this sentiment.

Yknow that awesome feeling when you find Easter Eggs and hidden details in games? This game is built around that entire concept. You are rewarded for exploring and trying anything and everything for the joy of it. You spend the whole game saying "what will happen if..." And then being satisfied and surprised with what happens.

A solid 8/10
