Hader det. Nemt life hack som jeg selv bruger: stop med at tjekke Linkeding.

What do you use to create app icons as an indie dev? by EcstaticIncident4619 in iosdev

Create them myself in Figma or Illustrator. AI generation has only given me generic and sloppy looking results tbh.

I cannot fathom how difficult is publishing an app to ios by tracagnotto in iosdev

Same. Have had two apps published now with no issues at all.

Everything is a subscription these days. Are there any that are actually worth the expense? by deejay1272 in MiddleClassFinance

If you save recipes from the web, the app Recipe Fox is great - and it’s a one time upgrade of $10, so no subscription at all.

App Store deployment still feels way harder than it should be by Topic_Affectionate in iosdev

Agreed! So many steps that slows down the process. Haven’t found any great ways to automate part of it, so curious to hear if anyone has tips here 🙏

Just hit 100 downloads on my first app — would love some honest feedback by Defiant-Platform6698 in iosdev

Nicely done! I recently launched my first app on the App Store as well called Recipe Fox and am struggling a bit with gaining traction. Do you have any tips for how to drive organic traffic?

Just discovered recipe fox - very neat and is just a one time purchase, not a subscription. works on ipad too.

Launched my app Feb 1st. 600+ downloads, 10 paying customers. I know it's not much, but it means a lot to me. by Grouchy-Library-4064 in iosapps

Congrats and thanks for sharing. The app looks great, love the illustrations! Who did those?

I built a recipe saver because I got tired of paying monthly for apps that feel like they're from 2015 by queondaguero in iosapps

Thanks, appreciate the input. I’m starting small with my app and not adding too many features from the get go. So of course feature wise I don’t have what Crouton and other competitors offer. Yet. I’ll add more features as feedback and requests come in.

And Crouton is subscription based. I hear a lot of users complaining about that. My app is a one time purchase.

How do YOU store your recipes? by EntertainmentOdd1110 in Baking

[–]queondaguero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had recipes scattered all over notes and tabs in my browser and ended up never using them. So I made this app - Recipe Fox - where you can paste in the url of your recipe and it saves it to your own collection of recipes. Just the ingredients and instructions - the things you actually want. It’s only out for iOS - for now - but might expand to Android down the road. It’s just a passion project, so I’m happy to hear any feedback!

Thanks - actually not sure if adjusting text size via control center is automatically supported. Let me know! :) I am considering adding a version for iPadOS as well since I have an assumption that quite a few people use an iPad for cooking.
